Alexis Bellino Keeps Her Cool Amid Near Run-In with Shannon Beador on Fateful DUI Night!

Alexis Bellino kept her distance from Shannon Beador after the two Real Housewives of Orange County stars nearly crossed paths on the night of the latter’s DUI/ hit and run arrest. 

“When my girlfriends and I arrived for a fun night out together, it was soon brought to my attention that Shannon was also at the same restaurant,” Alexis told TMZ. 

Alexis spoke to a claim made by a bystander, who told the outlet that Shannon was heard “bitching” about the RHOC alum “to other people nearby.”

She said — “Shannon and I did not interact that night, but it greatly saddens me to learn that she may harbor negative feelings or resentment toward me, as I was not involved in Jim Bellino’s lawsuit against Shannon.”

Alexis concluded — “From one single mother to another, I wish Shannon nothing but the best, as I know she is facing trying times ahead.”

Alexis was on the Orange County cast from Season 5 through Season 8, before leaving the show in 2013. Shannon joined the Bravo series in 2014, so the pair did not have opportunity to interact on camera. In 2018, Alexis’ ex-husband, Jim Bellino, hit Shannon and RHOC veteran, Tamra Judge, with a $1 million defamation lawsuit.  

Jim, 61, accused Shannon and Tamra of making defamatory remarks about his business and his split from Alexis while appearing on Heather McDonald’s podcast, “Juicy Scoop.” Bellino took issue with the ladies implying that his divorce was a sham, and that his trampoline business had allegedly paralyzed customers. He reportedly took particular offense to one of the women commenting — “he’s going to jail.” 

Shannon and Tamra denied all accusations of misconduct. Shannon claimed that her comments did not personally defame Bellino or damage his potential business deals. Shannon and Tamra also claimed that they were just “poking fun” at the Bellinos during a subsequent appearance on “Watch What Happens Live.”

TMZ’s spy alleged that Shannon was dissing Alexis while drinking with friend, Steve Muller, at Newport Beach, California eatery, A Restaurant.  

Shannon was arrested Saturday after she drunkenly slammed a Newport Beach duplex with her car then fled the scene, narrowly missing the home’s front door. She went on to park her vehicle in the middle of the street before getting out to walk her dog. TMZ reported that the reality star told police that she “was just walking her pup.” 

The mom of three was booked on two misdemeanors, DUI alcohol and hit-and-run. 

Shannon’s friend, Jeff Lewis, spoke out about the incident on his SiriusXM radio show “Jeff Lewis Live,” claiming that the reality star was poised to enter counseling. He added that he didn’t believe that Shannon had a drinking problem.
