Mauricio Umansky Plays Nice With Morgan Wade Amid Wife’s SCANDALOUS Lesbian Romance!
Mauricio Umanksy has nothing but good things to say about Morgan Wade, the singer who has been romantically linked to his estranged wife, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Kyle Richards.
The Buying Beverly Hills star, who will appear on Season 32 of Dancing With the Stars, spoke to TMZ about his wife’s close relationship with the country music artist as he left rehearsal for the ABC show, on Thursday.
Buying Beverly Hills told the outlet that he was excited for Kyle to support him in the ballroom, despite their recent separation. He added that Wade, 28, was also welcome to sit in the audience and cheer him on.
When Mauricio was asked about his own relationship with Wade, he confirmed that he had nothing but love for his wife’s bestie.
“I love her,” he immediately gushed. “Yeah, she’s great.”
Mauricio, who will perform with dance pro, Emma Slater, did not dismiss the idea of dancing to one of Wade’s songs. He said that while he wasn’t sure if the duo would compete in the country music arena, they would “figure it out as we go.”
He said — “She’s got so many great ones.”
In July, People reported that Kyle and Mauricio had separated after being married for 27 years. The couple shares three daughters, Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23 and Portia, 15.
“Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof,” the insider said at the time. “They remain amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family.”
Kyle Richards and Mauricio denied that a divorce was in the works at the time, and went on to spend the Fourth of July together. They went on to swap friendly banter on Instagram and Mauricio, 53, gushed his approval when Kyle and Wade released a suggestive music video, on August 10.
Kyle shot down chatter about the rumored romance, insisting that the duo was “just friends.”
The video, titled “Fall in Love with Me,” featured the pair almost kissing, sharing a bathtub and feeding each other, among other provocative activities.
The steamy production was supposedly designed to “poke fun” at the runaway rumor.
Kyle said in August — “If they’re gonna talk, you might as well give them something to talk about.”
Wade added — “We thought it would be a good idea kind of to … troll the trolls a little bit.”
Mauricio spoke to Entertainment Tonight earlier this month, stating that he and Kyle were “both happy.”
“You know, we’re hanging in there, we’re working through all of our things, which everybody knows about, and we’re just taking it day by day,” he shared. “We’re trying not to let the press influence us and all of the social media and all of the stuff that’s going on. So we’re trying to just ignore that and figure that ourselves.”
Season 32 of “Dancing with the Stars” premieres on September 26 on ABC.
