Carole Radziwill BLASTS Bethenny Frankel for Giving Away ‘Used Makeup,’ Calls Out Her ‘White Savior Complex’
Carole Radziwill took aim at Bethenny Frankel for gifting used makeup to TJ Maxx staffers, accusing her former Real Housewives of New York City bestie of a “white savior complex.”
A fan asked followers to sound off after reposting a TikTok video of Bethenny visiting the retailer writing—“Bethenny going to TJ Maxx and giving the employees her opened, ‘once used’ makeup as a gift,” adding— “Nobody wants your used makeup, lady.”
The TikTok creator captioned the clip — “Am I wrong? Some rich people feel so entitled.”
Bethenny, 52, told her followers that she had opened various makeup packages to review the products, but insisted that the items were still “all brand new.”
A TJ Maxx employee gave the Skinnygirl mogul kudos for her purchases as she shopped in the popular discount chain.
“They’re all things that have been opened once and, like, not used. But they’re good and fancy and expensive,” the former Bravo star said while offering the goods to the worker, who said that she was not allowed to accept gratuities or gifts.
Carole reacted to the TikTok vid, tweeting — “Who sent this to me? Lol. I mean stop this nonsense.”
“So much to unpack but I’m not getting paid to do this any longer,” the “Real Housewives of New York” alum wrote, adding— “But here…one ‘word’: # whitesaviorcomplex.”
Bethenny and Carole fell out during RHONY Season 10, and have sparred on social media in the years since their initial feud played out on the Bravo series.
Last month, Bethenny hit back after Carole claimed that it was Donald Trump’s ex lawyer, Michael Cohen, who snapped the photo of the pair’s former cast mate, Luann de Lesseps’ then-fiancé, Tom D’Agostino, lip-locked with another woman during their engagement.
Bethenny jumped on TikTok to shoot down the story, calling the account “insignificant and stupid.”
“The woman who did take the photo at the Regency is texting me right now. People should not quit their day jobs, and you need to trust and check your choices because it’s dangerous to listen to just anybody spew their mouth off about something they know nothing about,” the businesswoman said, in part, in the since-deleted video.
Carole, 59, responded to the jab via her Instagram Story, commenting— “I normally do not respond to moronic comments by ‘a source close to Frankel.’ But it’s a masterclass in gaslighting [and] deflection of narcs.”
She added a screenshot of an article in which Bethenny commented — “Who cares? Carole Radziwill has talked extensively about her journalism career. Maybe she should call Michael Cohen.”
Carole added — “I did speak to Cohen… that was the point of the story. He was the source, dum-dum.”
The back-and-forth came after Carole bashed her former friend, calling Bethenny “not very intelligent” amid the BStrong founder’s campaign to hold Bravo and NBCUniversal accountable for allegedly mistreating and underpaying their reality stars.
The former ABC journalist chimed in on a fan account’s post but misspelled her diss, writing — “Shrewed [sic] perhaps but she’s actually not very intelligent.”
