Sunday’s all-new episode of Sister Wives, we find Christine Brown making grand plans for a 50’s themed 50th birthday bash with her daughters, with a significant caveat — Kody, Robyn, and Meri Brown won’t be on the guest list.

“I love living so close to my girls, we do this all the time, we hang out all the time as much as possible.” Christine tells the camera.

Christine and her daughters are brimming with excitement as they envision going all out for the upcoming bash. They chat animatedly, brainstorming a myriad of retro ideas to make the 50’s theme come alive. From urging guests to step out in vintage costumes to setting up a nostalgic soda fountain and a delightful ice cream bar, they aim to recreate the iconic era down to the last detail. And what’s a 50’s party without a sock hop? That’s on the list too, promising an event steeped in nostalgia and full of fun, themed activities.

As they delve into crafting the guest list, it’s clear that Janelle Brown will be a prominent figure at the party, reflecting the close bond she and Christine have maintained, especially in the aftermath of Christine’s dramatic exit from the Brown family and her departure from Flagstaff.

However, Kody, Robyn, and Meri’s are not invited — a deliberate choice rooted in the desire to foster a happy and close-knit environment for the celebration. Similarly, their children, with whom Christine doesn’t share a close bond, won’t be receiving invites. Christine’s intention is to surround herself with love and positivity as she marks this significant milestone in her life and avoid potential discord.

“I won’t be inviting Kody, or Robyn or Meri and the kids that I still have contact with and still do things with will be invited.”

As Sister Wives fans know, it’s common knowledge that upon declaring her decision to part ways with Kody and relocate to Utah, Christine firmly stated her intentions to sever ties with Meri and Robyn. This decision came as a result of the strenuous and tense relationship they had cultivated over the span of several years.

“I ended the relationship. I did. I ended it. It wasn’t safe for me anymore and I ended it,” Christine said of Meri Brown on Sister Wives: One on One on Dec. 18. “I just told her straight up, ‘No, we’re not going to be friends because I don’t trust you. And I’m not going to do that to myself anymore.'”
