Caitlyn Jenner spills come inside tea about her former stepdaughter, Kim Kardashian’s “calculated” rise to fame in an upcoming docuseries.
“Kimberly calculated from the beginning, ‘How do I become famous?’” the 73-year-old reveals in a trailer for “House of Kardashian,” released Thursday.
Family friend, Joe Francis, speculates that Kim’s 2000 sex tape with ex-boyfriend Ray J was “a means to an end.”
“It was to create a controversy,” the “Girls Gone Wild” founder notes.
An unidentified female narrator says that the clan’s matriarch, Kris Jenner, 67, wanted to “to be more than just a housewife,” as another unseen voice adds, “They ruined the world!”
The Kardashian-Jenner family had no editorial control over “House of Kardashian,” unlike the group’s reality shows, E!’s “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and Hulu’s “The Kardashians.”
“I was happy to participate in the interview process to share my side which points to the strength, influence and prowess my family has in captivating the world’s attention and keeping it over the years,” Caitlyn said via a statement.
She added — “I am incredibly proud of all my children and stepchildren.
Caitlyn, who was married to Kris for 23 years, has been candid about her experience within the Kardashian clan since her 2014 divorce from the 67-year-old momager.
Caitlyn revealed that Kim, 42, struggled to live with now-ex, Kanye West, 47, as the rapper’s public breakdown made headlines last year.
“Kimberly has been through a lot with the guys she’s been with, especially Kanye,” she shared during an appearance on “The Pivot Podcast.
The “I am Cait” star admitted in 2019 that she had not spoken to her ex-stepdaughter, Khloe Kardashian, in five years. Caitlyn and Khloe clashed during the Olympian’s gender transition in 2015.
“I went through every kid, and Khloé for some reason was pissed off about something through this whole process. It’s been five or six years, and I really haven’t talked to her since,” Caitlyn said on “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here.”
The former athlete added —“We were really close; I raised her since she was 5 years old. I really don’t know what her issues are.”
House of Kardashian will premiere in the UK on October 8 on Sky Documentaries and streaming service Now.
