Julie and Todd Chrisley’s Prison Sentences REDUCED – The Black Community Rejoice!

Todd and Julie Chrisley have had their prison sentences reduced. Todd will be released from the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola on January 22, 2033, almost two years ahead of the conclusion of his 12-year sentence, according to a Federal Bureau of Prisons’ inmate search. Julie’s sentence was cut by 14 months. She will be released from the Federal Medical Center Lexington on October 19, 2028.

In June 2022, the Chrisley Knows Best couple was found guilty of 12 counts of tax evasion, bank and wire fraud, and conspiracy. The reality TV couple was sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison. Todd received 12 years and Julie was sentenced to 7 years behind bars. The duo was indicted in August 2019 for allegedly submitting fraudulent bank records to secure more than $30 million in loans.

The couple’s lawyer, Jay Surgent, gave an update on the pair’s appeal process in late July.

“The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals can reverse the District Court, or they could remand the case back for hearings that should have been held that were not held during the course of this trial,” he told People. “We argued very vigorously that their constitutional rights have been violated, and that they basically were not given a fair hearing. It’s all in black and white, actually.”

Alex Little, the couple’s second attorney, later appeared on Savannah Chrisley’s “Unlocked” podcast, telling the couple’s daughter, “it’s going to be a hard lift, but in this case, we’ve got, you know, real legitimate substantive arguments that we think, you know, if the court takes fairly, has a very good shot of winning.”

Todd and Julie’s kids have also been offering updates on how their parents are managing in prison.

“They’re hanging in there. It’s a terrible situation,” Chase Chrisley recently told Extra. “The conditions [of their prisons] are awful and if you read all these headlines they say the polar opposite, but it is not the truth and we’re going to be spreading a lot of awareness to that as well.”

Savannah remains hopeful amid Todd and Julie’s rough circumstances.

“I know that they’re going through what they’re going through for us to make a difference, for us to make a change,” she said on a previous episode of “Unlocked.” “Because whether this appeal works or not, they’re still coming out with a story.”

In late July, the siblings alleged that their parents were experiencing “inhumane” conditions as they served out their respective sentences.

Savannah claimed on her podcast — “Mom has rattlesnakes just casually slithering on the floor in front of her.”

Chase, 27, corrected his sister, clarifying that the critters weren’t  rattlesnakes but some other kind of “poisonous snakes.”

They went on to claim that their father, Todd Chrisley, and mom, Julie, were both enduring a summer without air conditioning.

Savannah noted that no air conditioning was the “least” of her parents’  problems inside their new living quarters, alleging that black mold, asbestos and lead-based paint were also present.

Savannah and Chase assured their listeners that their parents are “doing fine with what they’re given.”

“The truth is that they are in inhumane conditions, but … they’re keeping their sanity and they’re putting one foot in front of the other,” Savannah said. “So they’re not giving up. There is no admission of guilt.”
