‘RHOA’ RECAP: Kenya Moore’s FAKE Subpoena Gets Exposed and Kandi Fights To Save Her Role on the Reality Show

Welcome to The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 15 Reunion, part one. As the ladies prepare for a shade-fest, Kandi Burruss is complaining about the rooms as Marlo Hampton shouts with glee in the streets. Andy Cohen’s meditating on stage, as the MUA for Sheree Whitfield and Drew Sidora make sure their ready to drag the girls! Drew’s ready to gather them all at one time as Marlo claims she inspires the girls as Kenya Moore makes her way to the stage. Sheree greets Andy and Kenya next as Kandi shimmers on stage with Marlo and Drew afterwards. Sanya Richards-Ross comes onstage showing off her rainbow baby and everyone’s excited for the blessing to come. Andy kicks off the reunion and begins by highlighting the Portugal themed stage and has the ladies chant “I am loving awareness” before getting started. 

Andy thanks the ladies and greets Kandi before being grateful that she’s not too booked and busy to make it. Andy calls Sheree out on her refresh look and Sheree finally admits to getting her nose tweaked. Marlo’s trying to get into sample sizes and Andy tells Kenya he doesn’t know how he’s going to keep his eyes off her breast. Andy ask Drew how she’s doing and although she’s doing better, Drew admits it’s awkward living in the same house as Ralph Pittman. Sanya reveals she’s four-months pregnant and due on Christmas Day. Andy starts with Sheree and her adventurous season, as we see Sheree introduce Martel Holt; along with revealing her grandbaby, and her struggle with She by Sheree. On top of that, Bob Whitfield introduced his adult daughter, Candiace; at Sheree’s Sip and See for baby Mecca. 

Andy asks for the story on Bob Whitfield’s daughter and Sheree admits Candiace was born before she and Bob met. Sheree hasn’t gotten more details and when Andy wonders why Sheree’s kids didn’t inform her; Sheree brushes it off and claims they knew she wouldn’t care. The couch snickers as Kandi states it was shocking to her by the way Bob announced his daughter. Sheree admits Bob did a jerk move and Andy shifts focus to Drew and Kandi commenting on Sheree’s new face. Kandi tells everyone she was referring to a particular picture, while Andy sees the comparison as a compliment. Sheree disagrees and tells Drew she should be insulted, because that’s her worst picture taken. SMH!

Andy laughs as he begins reading questions from the fans and one fan wonders why Sheree’s claiming Martel while he’s spreading his big D over Huntsville! Sheree says they have the most amazing time, but she pulled back since she got pulled into his mess. Kenya ask about the revenge porn and Sheree acts dumb as Kenya fills in the blanks on the situation. Sheree still hangs out with Martel but enjoys her company more. The topic now goes to Martel sliding in Kenya’s DM and why Kenya waited so long to bring it up to Sheree. Kenya says she didn’t think it was a big deal but thought Sheree would appreciate the information coming from a “friend.” Marlo questions if it was the right time and place to bring up the DM’s as Sheree and Kenya go back and forth on the importance of it all. 

Andy brings up the interviews where Sheree shades Kenya for not having a man and Sheree wants Kenya to bring a man to stand up for her next time. Kenya doesn’t want any man and definitely doesn’t want a man who treats and speaks to his wife any old way. Sheree tries to shade Kenya by bringing up Roi and how he travels but Kenya’s not paying it no mind. As Kenya and Sheree go at it, Drew says, “It’s hard out there” and Sanya catches it and replies “Drew, you don’t know that yet” as the chaos continues. Andy thinks it’s great Sheree had the strength to walk away from Martel, while hoping Kenya’s divorce is finalized from Marc Daley. Unfortunately, Kenya can’t say that, and Kenya mentions additional motions that Marc have filed due to Marlo kicking Kenya’s door in Birmingham.

Marlo says she felt horrible after hearing the news and apologized for Brooklyn being in the middle of their BS. Kenya pretends not to understand the apology as says Marlo should’ve thought about that before it became a court issue. Kenya then pulls out a “subpoena,” and asks Andy to hand it to Marlo. Everyone looks shocked as Andy reads the paperwork and it’s revealed it’s blank! The couch erupts in laughter as Kenya claims she printed off the wrong document and we’re left dying laughing. Andy isn’t accepting the document as evidence, but Kenya says Marlo will be subpoenaed in court and wonders why Marlo was texting and calling Marc, two years ago! Marlo denies all claims as Kenya claims Marlo called Marc asking for dirt on Kenya. Kenya says Marc told her everything, but Andy moves onto Sheree and her disastrous birthday dinner. 

Andy ask who was invited and Sheree goes off into a non-explanation of everything and Andy mentions Sheree’s very strange relationship with bills. Sheree gets offended by the laughter and claims no one’s ever taken her to court or tried to sue her for stealing her idea. Sheree’s referring to Kandi’s ex-assistant but Kandi fires back that everyone knows the restaurant is based on Kandi’s aunts, The Old Lady Gang. Kandi and Sheree begin arguing and Kandi mentions the fashion designer that Sheree failed to pay, but Sheree pulls out a print-out of Rowan claiming Sheree paid. Sheree tells Kandi not to believe everything she reads on the internet and Kandi brings up Sheree’s fashion show and the lack of merchandise on the website. 

Sheree tells Kandi to focus on mopping her dirty a** floors as Kandi tells Sheree to worry about her new dry a** face! Sheree stands up to show off her body, claiming that Kandi could never as Kandi mentions Sheree put all the shots in her face! Sheree walks up on Kandi and says she had some of her fillers taken out, but Kandi says that’s because Sheree saw how swollen she looked on TV. LOL. Sheree and Kandi continue yelling at each other as Sheree calls Kandi “Big face, little face” and Kandi calls Sheree a “low-down, dirty, nothing a** b****”! Andy wonders what Sheree means but Sheree continues talking nonsense as Kandi tells Sheree to worry about getting her paper up. 

Andy verifies Rowan coming to Sheree’s defense as Kandi calls out Sheree for coming at her first and Sheree tells Kandi to worry about her businesses. Kandi says she does as Sheree brings up the past shootings, while pulling out “She News” articles for everyone. Kandi wishes Sheree would print some fashions as Sheree claims Kandi is overcharging at her store, Tags. Kandi never pretended to sell original items and Andy begins ringing bells to quiet the ladies. It doesn’t work and Kenya ask Sheree why she wasn’t on the cover. Sheree says she couldn’t find a good picture as Andy points out the first six-pages are devoted to taking down Kandi’s restaurant. Sheree placed together any reviews and Kandi calls Sheree a hater as Andy points out Kandi’s store is going strong. Andy’s keeping the She News as Andy wonders if the ladies got their She by Sheree. 

Sanya and Kandi received their goodies, but the business still isn’t making a profit. Sheree says she needs more time, but I think it’s good to assume her business is a bust! Sheree gifts Drew a She by Sheree bag with a prop just for Kandi. Kandi ask whose been helping Sheree with her reads, as Andy thanks Sheree for the news article and awaits his next issue. After the break, Andy focuses on Drew and her confusing season. After the recap, Andy ask how shooting with Kandi and Todd Tucker was and Drew admits it was better than she expected. Although ten days to shoot was very aggressive, Drew thought everything was top tier. Andy questions what Kandi thought about Drew’s comment about doing Lifetime movies and above; and Drew claims she signed on for lower than she usually makes to support Kandi. Sheree’s spreading rumors, saying Drew only got paid ten thousand dollars and Kandi shut that down immediately.

Drew explains why she signed on and Andy mentions Kenya’s reaction to Drew shading her acting career. Andy reads Kenya’s tweet and Kenya thought she was shading Drew’s production in a fun way and wanted to see more because Drew’s so talented. Kenya apologized to Drew as Drew wishes for more support. Andy brings up Drew calling Kandi a liar due to the LaToya Forever of it all and Drew brings up Kandi’s video from 2021 where Kandi said, “If I saw it wrong, I apologize.” Kandi says she was trying to be a friend since Drew was defending herself so hard and didn’t realize Drew and Ralph were going through marital issues. Kandi doubles down that she saw Drew kiss LaToya and mentions that Kandi’s movie wasn’t invented when the alleged kiss happen. Drew calls Kandi a “Kandi coated lie” as Kandi calls Drew a “lying a** h*e.” 

Drew claims everyone’s afraid of Kandi and Marlo retracts her earlier statement that she too say Drew and LaToya kiss. Marlo doesn’t know what to believe after Drew’s theatrics but admits she say Drew and LaToya get close. Kandi doesn’t backdown and now thinks Drew be gaslighting Ralph; and say she looks at Drew and Ralph’s situation differently now. Andy tries to move on, but Drew wants to make sure she and Kandi are good. Kandi doesn’t say anything, and the silence says it all!  Andy says “You’re not good” as Marlo calls Drew delusional. Drew mentions she only lied about her weight loss and Andy moves onto Drew’s music. Drew explains her video is doing good and that the video got put on BET. Andy clowns Drew and Kenya about their geography skills as Andy reads a question, wondering if Marlo’s upset at the way she treated Drew this season. 

The fan read the mess out of Marlo and Marlo claims everyone on the couch had surgery before. Drew calls Marlo “touchless” and the two go back and forth about Drew lying as Drew name drops The Pass. Andy wonders if Drew’s ready to give more details in her divorce from Ralph and as Marlo says “Just tell the truth” Drew wonders what she’ll say since they have children to protect. Sanya wonders if the two can mend it but for now Drew’s going through the divorce. Marlo mentions that Ralph called her, and she gave him some advice as Drew’s blood begins to boil!

Andy leaves it there as the ladies take a break and Monyetta Carter-Shaw and Courtney Rhodes join the stage. After Andy greets the ladies, he ask Monyetta if she witnessed any collusion backstage. Monyetta says “Not yet” as Andy ask Courtney if she’s serving “Cousin” or “Cousin-in-law” today. Courtney answers “It depends who I’m referencing” as the gloves start to come off. Courtney explains she and Ralph are related due to her aunt marrying Ralph’s uncle. Andy admits it’s a weak connection as Drew says, “It’s giving fake cousin”. Courtney fires back with “Drew, everything about you is fake” and the two go back and forth. Since Courtney’s coming in hot, Drew throws a plum at her and sets Marlo off due to the plum hitting Marlo’s dress. 

Courtney calls Drew’s props corny as Andy takes a bite of the plum. Andy moves into Marlo’s segment this season and questions if she pulled the old Marlo out of Le’Archive. After Marlo’s recap, Andy inquires about Scotley and Marlo says they’re still dating. Their continuing to have fun as Andy reads a question about Marlo’s sex life before Scotley. Marlo says she isn’t big in the bedroom but reveals she and Scotley slept together. Marlo’s nephews are doing great and just celebrated Michael’s sixteenth birthday. Marlo admits Courtney continues helping with her case expungement and that Phaedra Parks is also helping. A fan wonders the difference between Martel sliding in Kenya’s DM verses Roi sliding in Marlo’s, but Kenya doesn’t agree that Roi reached out to Marlo. 

Sanya questions Kenya’s answer as Kenya explains what Roi told her about his date with Marlo. Kenya claims it wasn’t a date as Sanya disagrees as Kenya shades Marlo for driving her own car to the lunch date and Taco Bell afterwards. Kenya says Marlo knows it wasn’t a date because Marlo’s dates usually end with money being left on the dresser! Andy ask where Roi is today Kenya says Roi didn’t want to come due to Marlo’s comments about him. Andy mentions Roi not being around much during the season and not buying that Roi avoided production due to Marlo’s comment. Marlo mentions a commercial Kenya did for Roi’s business, but Andy leaves it alone. After the break, Andy reads a fans favorite moment from the season and ask Marlo to do a fashion corner for the ladies on the couch. 

Marlo calls Monyetta’s “Sunday’s Best” as she compliments Kandi’s dress and shades Kenya’s peacock attire. Kenya calls Marlo “Mrs. Ruper” as everyone laughs, and Marlo moves onto Drew. Marlo loves Drew’s look and thinks Sheree’s simple and chic as she loves Sanya and Courtney’s looks. Andy goes into Marlo’s infamous video tape and the collusion that occurred between Sanya, Marlo, Courtney, and Sheree. After the flashback, Andy wonders why Monyetta called the situation a collusion. Monyetta thought it was weird, but Sanya thought it was an unfair assessment. Monyetta noticed Courtney switching on Drew and Sheree mentions they just met five minutes ago. We know that’s not the way it was played this season and soon Courtney begins getting loud saying Monyetta’s confused. Andy mentions Courtney calling Kandi ghetto as Sanya continues believing she stood up for Kandi.

Kandi admits it didn’t feel good as Sanya continues justifying her actions. Kandi wanted Sanya to tell her everything instead of waiting until the season aired. Sanya brings up a post of Drew flipping her hair on Sanya and Sanya admits it hurt her feelings that Kandi thought the post was funny. Kandi tries to keep it one-hundred as Sanya claims she forgot she laughed, and it wasn’t serious to her. Andy goes back to Birmingham and how Marlo slammed the door in Monyetta’s face. Monyetta felt the ladies acted like hyenas the way they gaslit her and doesn’t apologize since they took up for Marlo. Sheree says she tried to keep the peace, but Monyetta reiterates that Marlo gets special treatment. 

Sheree and Monyetta agree to disagree as Andy focuses on the debate about Marlo’s video footage. Monyetta was upset Marlo sent the footage to LaToya and Andy ask why Marlo sent it. Marlo claimed LaToya would tell the truth as Andy wonders what Drew thinks of the “b****” video. Drew doesn’t feel that she did anything to warrant that behavior and that Courtney was fighting for a space on the show. Courtney calls Drew a chronic liar and that Courtney’s a fake cousin. Courtney admits she admitted to calling Drew a b**** because Drew was getting on her nerves. Another fan questions whether Kenya planned to perform in Birmingham as Monyetta and Kenya clarify they rehearsed for weeks. 

Andy congratulates Kenya on the opening of her salon and Kenya mentions additions being added.  Another fan questions whether Kandi wants to be on the show since she’s either MIA or leaving early. Kandi admits to getting in hot due to the drama happening with Xscape and admits to biting off more than she could chew this season. Andy questions Monyetta about her comment about Drew talking to her crush (Ty) and if Drew’s statement led her to believe something more happened between them. Monyetta didn’t know what to believe until she spoke with Drew and now everyone else wants to know the tea. Drew said she was joking on set as Andy wonders what Ralph told Drew about the rumors. Courtney claims that Ralph’s hurt and Drew’s a liar and projecting on Ralph. Drew says Courtney know nothing about her and that Ralph’s been couching Courtney all season! Drew tells Courtney to never speak on her son again and Courtney begins egging Drew on while denying she mentioned Drew’s son. The two continue yelling at each other as Drew calls Courtney unverifiable and that the two are done! Be sure to come back next week for part two of The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion.
