Jenelle Evans’ Son Jace Runs Away From Home Again  – Twice In One Month! 

Jenelle Evans is facing a situation no parent should ever have to: her son, Jace, has been missing on two separate occasions in just the past two weeks. Law enforcement has been engaged to aid in locating him.

The 14-year-old Jace wandered off from Jenelle’s North Carolina residence on Monday to explore their vast property. After several hours of no communication, a concerned Jenelle was unable to locate him, leading her to seek assistance from the police.

Thankfully, Jace was found at a gas station roughly 10 minutes away from Jenelle’s residence. It remains uncertain, however, whether Jace was accompanied by friends or if he was alone.

According to TMZ, police were actively searching for Jace earlier this month when he disappeared after leaving school. Fortunately, he was found unharmed. Jenelle later explained that the incident stemmed from her decision to confiscate Jace’s phone as a consequence of his behavior at school.

Jace has since returned home and is now with Jenelle and her husband, David Eason. All seems to be harmonious among the three of them. Sources indicate that as Jace matures, he simply desires more independence, behaving much like any typical teenager.

“Jace was out roaming the property like he usually does,” Jenelle’s rep said in a statement on Aug. 29. “He went off to the gas station, without telling Jenelle.”

For the second time in just two weeks, Jace has been reported missing. As reported, on August 15, Jace, ran away from home and his step-dad, David Eason, lashed out at online critics during the urgent search for the 14-year-old. Although Jace, who was reported as a runaway, was found unharmed later that day, Eason didn’t hold back, launching into a profanity-laden rant on Instagram. He took aim at both followers and internet trolls who were critical of him amid the family emergency.

“So y’all really think you know what you’re talking about,” David ranted. “You want to come on here assuming all kinds of sh— about Jace. That’s what you’re going to do. Cause I’ve been out here running through the f— woods for two and a half hours trying to find him. Yeah. I’ve been sitting down in the air conditioner and trying to cool off. Cause I almost had a f— heat stroke trying to find this kid.”

His tirade continued as he recounted the police response.

David said — “You know what they told me? Go home. We have drones, we have helicopters, we have dogs, we have ATVs, dirt bikes. We’re going to find him. They told me to go home and make sure he doesn’t walk in the door. You know, like he doesn’t hitchhike home or something.”

“Then all you stupid f—rs want to come on my post where I’m singing a song a couple of days ago and tell me I need to stop playing on social media,” he went on. “Yeah, how about f— you motherf—. I’m the first one that ran after his ass to try to find him. I was the first one. Well, actually the principal was. Like, don’t come on here trying to tell me what the f— you think is going on.”

“Please. I do all the f—ing work around here. I take care of everything around here. And if you think I don’t, just because of what somebody might tell you when they’re mad, you’re f—ing wrong.”

During the first disappearance, Jenelle’s mother, Barbara Evans, talked to her grandson on August 14, and mentioned that he seemed to be doing well. According to the outlet, Barbara reached out to her daughter that day amidst public altercations between the former MTV pair. It’s said that Jenelle expressed to her mother her desire to be left in solitude.

During his social media outburst, David directed his frustration towards Barbara — “And if you think you can just assume some s— because of an article that you’ve seen because Barbara goes on the internet saying something, she don’t even know what she’s talking about. She don’t even know what the f— she’s talking about. You can’t f—ing take Barbara’s word for it. She’s selling articles for money. You gotta pay for your retirement somehow.”

The 31-year-old former Teen Mom star posted a heartfelt moment on both Instagram and TikTok, rejoicing as she was formally awarded full custody of her teen son, Jace.

“#MyHappyEnding ITS OFFICIAL! Thanks everyone for the support! Words cant descibe how happy i truly am. Our family is complete now! Thank you mom. ❤️😭,” she captioned the video.

With Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” playing in the background, Jenelle is shown signing documents and clarifying that her mother, Barbara Evans — who has had custody of Jace since he was an infant — is “completely fine” with the arrangement.
