90 Day Fiancé’s Shekinah Garner’s NEW Boo LOVES Makeup More Than Her! See How He WON Her Over With a Single Highlighter Swipe
Monday’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way introduced a brand new couple, Shekinah Garner, a California cosmetologist preparing to reconnect with her long distance boyfriend, Sarper, who lives in Istanbul, Turkey. Shekinah had already met the model/ trainer in person, and fans learned the couple’s backstory during Monday’s episode.
“I went to Turkey last year with a girlfriend. I downloaded a dating app to see what Turkish men are like,” she said.
Shekinah, 41, and Sarper, 43, met face-to-face and fell madly in love after only two days together.
“You know how people usually say ‘You had me at hello?’ Sarper had me at highlighter,” she said. “He was wearing highlighter on our first date. And I noticed it down the bridge of his nose, and I was like, ‘This man is wearing makeup. He’s wearing makeup on a date with me. That is so cute!’”
Shekinah, a Los Angeles-based aesthetician, went back to Turkey only two months later after falling head over heels for the model.
“He is just everything that I’ve looked for,” she explained. “He’s sweet, he’s thoughtful, he’s really caring, and our sex life is just, like out of this world. It’s insane.”
The TLC show will feature the couple taking the next step in their relationship, as Shekinah moves across the globe to be with her man full-time.
“My attraction and connection with Sarper is so strong that I’m willing to leave this entire life that I’ve built in Los Angeles to go and be with him,” she gushed.
Shekinah insisted that her relationship with Sarper was different, despite her family’s concern that she was falling back into a pattern of falling for attractive playboys.
Cameras will follow Shekinah as she tries to establish relationship ground rules, amid a new environment. Sarper balks at what he sees as an attempt to control him, raising questions about the pair’s future together. As time goes by and more truths are exposed, the couple begins to wonder how well they really know each other.
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way airs on Mondays at 8 pm ET on TLC.
