‘Sister Wives’ Leon Brown’s HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS Wedding to Audrey Kriss Sends Fans into Frenzy
Leon Brown, daughter of Sister Wives stars, Kody and Meri Brown, wed partner, Audrey Kriss, nearly a year ago, but the couple has yet to share the big news with fans.
Leon, formerly Mariah, wed her longtime girlfriend on October 29, 2022, according to a marriage certificate obtained by The U.S. Sun. The duo reportedly tied the knot at a Colorado Springs house, according to the address noted on the document. The event was “self-solemnized” which refers to a legal union via an agreement, not involving an officiant or a judge.
The pair applied for a marriage license on October 19, 2022 at the Denver County Clerk’s Office. The clerk’s office recorded the license and certificate on July 6, 2022.
The official filing came ten days before Mariah’s half-sister, Gwen Brown, publicly wed her now-wife, Beatriz Queiroz, on July 16, 2023.
Mariah, 28, and Audrey, 27, met while attending Westminster College. The duo got engaged at the Washington D.C. Women’s March in January 2019, before moving to Denver in June 2022.
Mariah came out as transgender the same month, announcing to her followers — “Someone recently told me that i didn’t have to have all of my s–t figured out in order for me to share myself with the world. So here’s me, definitely not having almost any of my s–t figured out, to let you know that I am trans. My name is Leon or Leo (i love both) and my pronouns are they/them.”
Leon revealed her top surgery on TikTok in January. Gwen, daughter of Kody and his ex third wife, Christine, told fans and followers at the time that Leon was “separating” from the reality TV clan for her own safety.
Kody and Meri were reportedly not present for the covert nuptials. Meri was visiting Disneyland with a friend, at the time.
The TLC star posted a quote by Walt Disney on October 29, writing — “Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, and dreams are forever,” and wrote, “A day at Disneyland never disappoints! Resting those feet for another full day tomorrow!”
A source told the outlet that Kody, who is now husband to only fourth wife, Robyn, also passed.
The insider said — “Kody has not supported Leon’s transition. He’s very much estranged from them.”
Meri has shown public support for her only child in recent months.
She posted a photo of herself with her daughter on July 15, captioning the shot—”Best part of today. That is all. @leointhemountains.”
Leon recently shared on Instagram — “feeling gay, trans, grateful, HOME. reminder that trans people cannot be legislated out of existence. we will keep being born, keep living, keep thriving, & finding our joy… being trans is a gift, one i love very much.”
Meri commented on the post — “And you are my gift, one I love very much.”
