90 Day Fiancé star, Kalani Faagata, admitted that she has a new man in her life after teasing a romance with a “tattooed man” for months, via her Instagram Stories.
90 Day: The Last Resort viewers learned that Kalani Faagata had discovered that her husband, Asuelu Pulaa, had cheated on her during a trip to his native Samoa. Asuelu was busted after he contracted thrush, an oral yeast infection he caught after receiving oral sex from a woman at a bar.
Asuelu gave his wife a “hall pass” to kiss another man to even the score. Kalani chose Dallas Nuez, but went on to confess that the kiss had led to sex. The revenge encounter shifted to Kalani developing feelings for Dallas, as the pair reportedly continued their relationship.
Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa have seemingly split.
A source told the U.S. Sun last month that Dallas, 28, works for a private security company in California.
The insider alleged that the couple was “ready to move in together,” and that Dallas had “already introduced her to family.”
Kalani, 35, dropped hints about her new romance earlier this year when she revealed Dallas’ tattooed hand during a dinner date on her Instagram Stories.
A fan asked the mom of two — “Who is the new man in your life?”
Kalani replied, “The new man in my life is… Jesus.”
She went on to reveal that she was dating someone she referred to as “hall pass guy.” Fans have been tracking clues to uncover the identity of Kalani’s mystery man, for months.
Kalani and Asuelu went on to film “90 Day: The Last Resort” shortly after Kalani posted a glimpse of her new relationship on social media.
“I never meant to stay in touch with this guy,” Kalani told her cast-mates on the “90 Day” spinoff show.
She added — “But… I’m also not the type of person that can sleep with someone and just forget about it.”
“I’m torn because I really want to make my marriage work with Asuelu,” Kalani admitted during the episode. “But I also can’t seem to bring myself to forgive him.”
Asuelu and Kalani tied the knot in 2018, after meeting while on vacation in Samoa. Asuelu moved to the United States to marry his American fiancée and the couple went on to have two children together.
Both Kalani and Asuelu claimed that they were single in June of last year.
In June 2022, In Touch Weekly reported that Asuelu posted a relationship status update, writing — “She’s different from how she used to be [and] she doesn’t want to go out with me.”
Kalani has since relocated from Utah to California with the couple’s two sons. Neither party has filed for divorce.
