American Express Files Lawsuit Against Brielle Biermann for $13K Unpaid Credit Card Bill
Amidst her parents’ continuing marital and financial struggles, Brielle Biermann, has also found herself struggling to keep up with her bills.
The 26-year-old influencer is in debt with American Express due to an unsettled credit card bill. According to court documents, Brielle Biermann has a pending balance of $12,870.25.
The Don’t Be Tardy alum has missed her monthly minimum payments, specified as $1,381.88 in the complaint. This sum also encompasses an overdue amount of $896.62.
Brielle had a deadline to make her most recent payment by June 27. Given her failure to meet this deadline, American Express is now pursuing the entire balance in addition to court-related expenses.
Brielle’s legal woes arise just two months following Target pursuing her mother, Kim Zolciak, over outstanding credit card charges.
In June, Target filed a lawsuit against the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum seeking $2,482.24 in unpaid charges.
In the same month, Brielle’s adoptive father, Kroy Biermann, faced a lawsuit for defaulting on car payments for his Rolls-Royce Cullinan, a vehicle valued around $400,100.
The family’s monetary challenges added tension to the marital relationship, leading the couple to rush to the courthouse in May to initiate divorce proceedings.
In the same month, Kim, 45, and Kroy, 37, reportedly had outstanding debts with the IRS, amounting to over $1 million. This sum encompasses unpaid taxes, interest, and penalties from the years 2013, 2017, and 2018.
The couple’s Georgia mansion was subjected to foreclosure and subsequently listed for auction in February, also had a debt of $15,000 in unpaid 2018 taxes to the state of Georgia.
Nonetheless, they managed to negotiate an agreement, leading to the cancellation of the home’s auction.
While the “Tardy for the Party,” vocalist and the ex-NFL star chose to reunite and rebuild their relationship, financial difficulties are said to continue causing tension between the couple.
Earlier this month, insiders informed TMZ that the pair is grappling with “serious financial issues” that might permanently jeopardize their relationship.
Kim and Kroy’s relationship has been marked by unpredictable ups and downs. One day they seem to be on good terms, and the next, they’re reportedly “at each other’s throats,” having intense disagreements.
Beyond their financial and marital challenges, the mother of six has faced accusations of hawking a counterfeit Louis Vuitton bag, allegedly in “brand new” condition, for $3,500.
