Jaylan Banks Drops BOMBSHELL On Falynn Pina — Claims He Was ‘GROOMED’ and TRICKED Into Love!
When Jaylan Banks and Falynn Pina parted ways in earlier this year, their collective statement painted a picture of mutual respect and understanding. However, fast-forwarding about six months, Jaylan has come forward with allegations that Falynn “groomed” him, only to later leave him for a different man.
On a recent episode of the Relationships Matter podcast, the MTV Couples Retreat star, Jaylan Banks, delved into the dynamics of his past relationship. When probed by the host about the origins of their romance, Banks brought up the topic of grooming.
“I was groomed,” Jaylan said. “She made it seem as if he was doing her wrong, and then come to find out I’m on the other side now so that’s narcissist…She groomed me…would tell me he’s doing this to me and I felt sad for her and being a friend. That’s what narcissist do, they groom you. Make the other person look bad so when you do something you won’t feel bad about it because you feel as if they were treating that person wrong.”
Jaylan recounted a trip to Cancun, Mexico, where a night fueled by alcohol saw “one thing lead to another.” He conveyed that it was in that moment he realized his deep feelings for Falynn and felt that it was “too late to turn back.”
Simon Guobadia, Falynn ex-husband, consistently alleged that she had an affair with Jaylan even before their relationship became public knowledge. Falynn, on her part, has consistently denied any infidelity during her marriage to Simon. Meanwhile, Simon also attracted criticism when he began a relationship and subsequently got engaged to Porsha Williams, who was previously a co-star of Falynn’s. Williams is now married to him.
When questioned about the dynamics of their relationship, Jaylan alluded to a saying that internet users frequently directed at him during their relationship. He remarked that he “lost her how [he] got her.”
“I lost myself within my relationship with her, and now I’m left alone to find myself again – when I helped her find herself in her relationship when she was lost. So now that I’m lost I’m no longer good for her anymore.”

Falynn Pina and her baby daddy Jaylan Banks have called it quits after less than two years.
In February, Falynn Pina, 33, announced the breakup of her engagement with Jaylan Banks via her Instagram account.
“It is with deep sadness in our hearts that we have decided to end our journey as a couple,” the former couple said in a joint statement posted on their respective profiles.
“Though we love each other very much, we feel it is best to part ways. Our bond as family and friends will never be broken,” they concluded. “We ask for privacy at this time.”
The couple’s messy relationship started while Falynn Pina was still married to Simon Guobadia. Towards the end of Falynn and Simon’s marriage, the Nigerian businessman accused Falynn of cheating with his former assistant, Jaylan and conceiving a love child during their marriage.
Falynn gave birth to Jaylan’s only child, Emma Sang, on Nov. 26, 2021.
Falynn and Jaylan announced their engagement a month before the birth of their first child together.
