Shannon Beador Spotted On A Date With Ex John Janssen Amid Drunken Outburst
Shannon Beador told her followers that she had a “great dinner” with her ex, John Janssen, after she was tossed from a bar earlier in the month for drunkenly screaming at his daughter.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star took to Instagram on Thursday night, posting a photo of the happy ex-couple. Shannon and John split in November 2022.
The reality star captioned the pic — “Great dinner,” also sharing the photo to her IG Story.
Shannon, John, and his family were dining at Tiki Bar in Costa Mesa, California earlier this month when things reportedly went sideways.
A source close to Shannon told Page Six that an “argument” broke out between “multiple people” in their group, who all began “screaming at each other.” Shannon’s outburst was described as “wild,” but what sparked her reaction remains a mystery.
The outlet reported that Tiki Bar staffers physically escorted Shannon, who appeared bedraggled, out of the restaurant. They were later informed that the security workers were helping the Bravo star to connect with her Uber.
John Janssen and his family purportedly “remained calm” as dished on Instagram by eyewitness, @igfamousbydana.
The insider explained that the whole group was “asked to leave,” because “the lights were on” at the end of the night.
John confirmed the source’s story, telling the outlet that there “was an argument” but it was “at the end of the night … and everyone was being asked to leave.”
The incident unfolded only weeks after Shannon revealed during her “Tres Amigas” improv show that she was getting along famously with her ex.
“We didn’t speak for six months, but we’re friendly right now, and I’d like to keep it that way,” Shannon said of the insurance broker, adding that he had been backstage to deliver tequila shots to her, Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson.
She added — “We’ll see how it goes. He’s very supportive.”
In January, the reality star spoke to PEOPLE about the end of her relationship, revealing that she was “blindsided by the breakup.”
“All I can do is repeat in my head what he said to me while we were filming,” Shannon said, when asked what she believed had led to the split. “We were in a great place. But seven days later, when the cameras were down, it was a completely different story. He told me he was done with the relationship. And to hear what he said to me then was absolutely devastating.”
“I’ve never loved anyone more in my life,” Shannon continued. “I was hopeful this was the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with. I wanted it to work out. I’ve never loved anyone like I’ve loved John. But clearly, he didn’t feel the same way.”
John Janssen explained that when he realized that the relationship wasn’t going to last forever, he believed it was best to end it.
“It doesn’t make sense to be together if you don’t believe in it,” he noted.
