Teddi Mellencamp Claps Back at Garcelle Beauvais’ Shady WWHL Remarks!

Teddi Mellencamp has responded to Andy Cohen stirring the pot with Garcelle Beauvais during the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s July 13 appearance on Watch What Happens Live. Cohen referenced Garcelle commenting that she believed that Teddi was “kind of annoying” and akin to “a little gnat,” during a Season 11 confessional spot. 

Andy Cohen revived the diss on WWHL when he remarked — “Garcelle once called Teddi a gnat, but tonight I’m the one pestering her for info.”

Garcelle Beauvais doubled down in response, asking — “Where’s the lie?”  

The RHOBH alum addressed the remark on the July 14 episode of her podcast, “Two Ts in a Pod.” Teddi mentioned Cohen’s shady recall, stating that the host mentioned that “in the past Garcelle called [her] a gnat” on Watch What Happens Live.

Teddi Mellencamp added — “Of course, [Cohen] does the game ‘called Teddi a gnat but now, I’m the one pestering you.’ I’m like I will never live down the gnat thing.”

Teddi’s guest co-host, Cynthia Bailey, chimed in, informing the podcaster  that gnats are “like in-between a fly and a mosquito” and “are annoying.”

The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum said — “You can kill a mosquito, you can kill a fly, a gnat is kind of like — when you think it’s gone, it comes back.”

Teddi joked that she agreed with Garcelle, admitting — “I mean that tracks.”

Teddi Mellencamp explained — “Every time I would hang out with Garcelle she would be nice to my face and then in her confessional, she goes, ‘Teddi is like a gnat.’ And everyone loved it, of course. And I’m like oh my gosh. So I’m a boring gnat, welcome to my freaking life.”

Teddi took to Instagram to address Garcelle’s jab at the time, photoshopping her head on a cartoon gnat’s body and posting the silly image on Instagram. 

She captioned the August 2021 post — “I am all abuzz about tonight’s #RHOBH! A certain someone (me, it’s me) makes an appearance and the time just flies by. While you don’t get to see all the things that gnat-turally happened, I can sleep on my super comfortable mattress tonight knowing I’m happy with who I am and being authentically me.”

Garcelle also dished during the chat show that she and co-star, Sutton Stracke, suspected that there was trouble in paradise for co-star, Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky, while filming Season 13. 

Andy Cohen asked the actress — “Was Kyle’s marriage a topic of conversation this season?”

Garcelle Beauvais didn’t hesitate to confirm the Bravo exec’s impression, responding— “Yes, for sure. Sutton and I were suspicious.”

Cohen went on to ask the 56-year-old if she had communicated with Kyle amid the bombshell news that her cast mate had called it quits with the real estate mogul.  

Garcelle shared — “I sent her a text asking her if she was okay,” and confirmed that Kyle had responded by writing that she was “hanging in there.” 

In early July, a snitch told People that Kyle and Mauricio had decided to part ways, but were still living together in the family home.  

The California power couple denied that a divorce was in the works only hours later. Kyle and Mauricio posted a joint statement on Instagram, only admitting that they had experienced a “rough year.”
