Ramona Singer Caught Being A ‘Total B-tch’ To ‘RHONYC’ Newbie Sai De Silva

Real Housewives of New York City cast member, Sai De Silva, didn’t hold back when asked about a recent interaction with Bravo OG, Ramona Singer.

The reality TV newbie appeared alongside her co-stars on “Watch What Happens Live” Sunday night, to promote the show’s reboot.

Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, Brynn Whitfield, and Sai were all given paddles and ordered to dish the dirt in a segment called “Agree or Disagree.” Host, Andy Cohen, asked the ladies to spill if any former RHONY star had treated them unkindly. Sai was the only cast member to hold up her “Agree” paddle.

Andy Cohen excitedly pushed for more details, asking the rookie — “Sai who was it?”

She asked — “Do I air this out?” before revealing that she had crossed paths with Ramona in Miami at Art Basel.

Ramona was a total b—- to me at Art Basel,” Sai shared. “I introduced myself.”

Cohen interjected — “Oh, boy. That didn’t go well,” to which Sai agreed — “That didn’t go really well.”

Cohen pressed for more info, asking the Bravo star — “Did you tell her that you’re on the show?”

“Well, she treated me like a big — like, not a good fan,” she said, “and then after that, I proceeded to say, “Oh, I just wanted to introduce myself I’m on the reboot. The new era.”

Fans know that RHONY was rebooted with a brand new cast after the most recent season ended in crashed ratings and a flood of negative fan feedback.

In March 2022, Cohen addressed the decision in an interview with Variety.

He explained — “I think that if you look at any series, where the ratings are declining week to week as the series goes on, and the viewer feedback is growing disenchanted on social media, etc. — I think that was a big red flag for us.”

Ramona confirmed her exit in November 2022, after appearing as a main cast member for 13 seasons.

“I do not want to do the show any longer,” she told Page Six, at the time. “It’s not for me at this time.”

In another twist, Ramona’s only child, Avery Singer, recently faced backlash after she claimed that that her struggle to find a job was due to her Real Housewives of New York City fame.

“There are many Bravo kids that ride their mom’s coattails that are like a wannabe Kylie Jenner, all duck-faced, posting,” she said during a June appearance on the Behind the Velvet Rope podcast,

She added — “I have taken a backseat from the show for an extremely long time because I worked at Morgan Stanley. Like most of my finance career, I couldn’t get jobs because of me being associated with the TV show.”

Fans reacted to Avery’s comments on Reddit, with some comparing the college grad to her famous mother.

One user wrote — “Oh well, guess she can’t be a second-generation maven and businesswoman like her mother!”

Another person said that Avery was “just like her mother,” and embraces a “victim mentality.”
