Kim Zolciak LIES To Cops For Sympathy, Claims Kroy Biermann Suffers From A Traumatic Brain Injury
Kim Zolciak believes that her husband, Kroy Biermann, may be brain injured as a result of his career in the NFL,
According to bodycam footage obtained by Radar Online, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum shared her fear with a Milton, Georgia police officer, who responded to a domestic incident at the couple’s Georgia home on May 4, 2023.
Kim Zolciak expressed her concern to the officer after the former Atlanta Falcons linebacker locked up her jewelry and designer bags in their basement safe. She claimed that the ex pro athlete was allegedly suffering from a “mental illness,” adding that her husband’s mind appeared to be rapidly deteriorating.
“Can I tell you it makes me sad to say this but he’s not right,” Kim told the cop, while pointing to her temple.
“I swear on my kids, this is not the man that I married,” she whispered to the officer, seemingly concerned about Kroy overhearing her remarks.
Kim Zolciak asked the officer to recall Falcons defensive lineman, Shane Dronett, who committed suicide in 2019 amid a battle with paranoia, out of control rage, and confusion. It was later determined that he was suffering from chronic traumatic encephalopathy. The 38-year-old pointed a gun at his wife before shooting himself inside the couple’s Duluth, Georgia kitchen.
“He was a friend of mine,” the former Bravo star revealed.
The officer asked — “Are they doing CTE (tests) on him?” to which Kim replied — “No! That’s the f—- problem.”
Kim Zolciak went on to describe an incident that unfolded while she was on a massage table, claiming—“my husband is like f— you! f— you! you f—— b…-!” The mom of six mimicked Kroy’s alleged tirade, rapidly pointing her finger back and forth in the police officer’s face.
“My chiropractor is like this,” Kim said, holding her head between her hands.
Dronett’s NFL career spanned about 20 years while Kroy played 8 seasons on the Atlanta Falcons and the Buffalo Bills. His stats include 333 tackles and nearly 24 sacks.
CTE typically occurs as a result of repeated head injuries and concussions. CTE was discovered in 27-year-old New England Patriots tight end, Aaron Hernandez, who hung himself in prison while serving a life sentence for murder.
Kim relayed similar concerns while speaking to the 911 operator.
“He’s physically and verbally abusive,” she told the dispatcher. “Hate to bother you and I’m so sorry, but it is getting crazy and out of hand. …he’s mentally ill ma’am.”
Police responded to the call and Kroy eventually opened the safe to return Kim’s belongings, including her passport.
The couple recently called off their divorce after announcing their split in May. They share four children together, KJ, 12, Kash, 10, and 9-year-old twins Kane and Kaia. Kroy adopted Kim’s two adult children after the couple wed in 2011.
“Kim and Kroy’s inner circle has been encouraging them to work through their issues,” a source told Page Six last week. “Their friends are optimistic that they’ll be able to really make it work, not just for their kids but because there is still a genuine love between them.”
