The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Garcelle Beauvais recently showed her support for her co-star, Kyle Richards, who is currently going through a separation from her husband of 27 years, Mauricio Umansky. In a heartfelt gesture, Garcelle reached out to Richards to check in on her during this challenging time.

In a recent interview, Garcelle shared her thoughts on the situation, shedding light on how Kyle Richards is coping with the news. The confirmation of the couple’s separation was announced earlier this month, leaving fans and fellow cast members taken aback.

“I just texted her and said, ‘[Are you] OK?’ ” actress Garcelle told Page Six. “And she replied — I didn’t expect a reply for days — but she just said she’s hanging in there.”

Garcelle Beauvais has been a prominent figure on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills since joining the Bravo series in season 10, starring alongside original cast member, Kyle Richards. As the upcoming season of the show approaches, viewers will have the opportunity to witness certain aspects of Kyle and Mauricio’s separation unfold on screen.

As reported, cameras have resumed rolling, capturing footage for the upcoming season 13 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. This development comes as a surprise, as filming had already concluded before news of Kyle Richards and Mauricio’s separation surfaced. The decision to continue filming after the fact suggests that the show will delve into the couple’s separation and its impact on the cast members’ lives, providing viewers with an inside look at this significant development.

During Monday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, Andy Cohen, the executive producer of The Real Housewives franchise, offered a tantalizing tease regarding Kyle and Mauricio’s relationship. Cohen hinted that the couple’s dynamic would be showcased in the upcoming 13th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. This revelation has sparked curiosity among fans, as they eagerly await the new season to witness the unfolding storyline surrounding Kyle and Mauricio.

“Um, what am I gonna say to this?” he said when asked by a listener if filming would resume in light of the news. “I wanna say that this will be included next season of Beverly Hills in some way, shape or form, that’s all I’ll say.”

On the day the news of their separation became public, both Kyle and Mauricio took to their respective social media accounts to release a joint statement addressing the situation.

“In regards to the news that came out about us today… Any claims regarding divorcing are untrue,” Kyle shared on her Instagram. “However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously.”

In their joint statement, which Mauricio also shared on his Instagram account, Kyle and Mauricio continued to express their thoughts and sentiments.

“There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part. Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately. While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative.”

Kyle and Mauricio exchanged vows in January 1996, marking the beginning of their marital journey. Throughout their marriage, they welcomed three daughters into their lives: Alexia, who is currently 27 years old, Sophia, who is 23 years old, and Portia, who is 15 years old.

Additionally, Kyle has a daughter named Farrah Brittany, aged 34, from her previous marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie. These children are a cherished part of Richards and Kyle’s family.
