Margaret Josephs Claims She’s NOT SAFE Filming With Luis Ruelas In Attempt To Get Him Fired

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is preparing to kick off production, but offscreen tension between Margaret Josephs and Luis Ruelas is already causing drama within the cast. 

Filming for Season 14 of the Bravo series is scheduled to begin in August but production has already hit some bumps, according to the U.S. Sun.

“Margaret has made it clear that she does not feel safe filming around Louie,” a source close to production told the outlet. ”She said that she was going to get her lawyers involved and had threatened not to film with Louie.”

The insider added — “The cast is still very much divided and there is still a lot of leftover tension from the reunion.”

The pre-season plot twist comes after Margaret Josephs alleged that her 27-year-old son was threatened by Teresa’s husband. 

“My family, my child, was called and threatened at work by Louie and we have the phone records,” Margaret, 56, said during the recently aired reunion series. 

She produced receipts, adding — “My child would have no idea who this person is. It happened last week, April 13th, that’s his phone number.”

Margaret Josephs and Luis Ruelas, 49, launched into an argument after Teresa confirmed that the number did belong to her husband. Teresa went on to call her co-star “a devil” and Margaret fired back—”You are gaslit every single day. He belittled you. He makes you look like an a**hole.”

Margaret added that she never wanted to see Luis’ “f***ing shame of a face again.”

Luis seemingly threatened Margaret after the men joined their partners on the reunion stage. 

“Be careful. I just told you to be careful because you’re lying,” he told her. 

Bravo is reportedly still hashing out casting decisions for the upcoming season, amid rumors that Melissa Gorga could be on her way out. 

A source told the U.S. Sun earlier this month that “…higher-ups are saying if there’s no Teresa Giudice, there is no show. If anyone’s going to be out, it’s Melissa.”

The tipster added — “She could potentially be on the chopping block. From what’s being discussed, I would be nervous if I were her.” 

The insider pointed out that everyone on the Bravo cast is aware that the franchise is “Teresa’s show,” and that there’s “no RHONJ without her.”

The Season 13 cast included Teresa, Melissa, Margaret, Dolores Catania, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral and Rachel Fuda. 

Cast friend, Jackie Goldschneider’s return appears shaky according to a tipster, who added that fans loved Bravo rookie, Jennifer Fessler.

“She doesn’t bring much to the table,” the insider said of Jackie. 

The cast has reportedly been ordered to stay tight-lipped in regard to all casting or production news. 

“The gag order that was sent to everyone prior to the reunion airing is still in place. If anyone breaks it, they get fined,” a snitch previously revealed.
