Ex-Lover of Kyle Richards’ Lesbian Girlfriend Exposes Secret Romance Between ‘RHOBH’ Star and Singer
Morgan Wade’s ex, Kady Cannon, admitted that she had “feelings” about her then-girlfriend’s relationship with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Kyle Richards, as the pair’s friendship blossomed during her time with the country music singer.
Kady spoke to Page Six, revealing that she shared a “private relationship” with Morgan from November 2021-August 2022. She did not disclose to the outlet why the pair kept their romance largely under wraps, but did reflect back on Kyle coming into the picture in March of last year.
Kady Cannon said that Kyle Richards and “a group of girl friends” reached out to Morgan because they were “fans of her music.” The “Temptation Island” alum explained that the group developed a close friendship but something about Kyle’s bond with her girlfriend struck a chord. She told the outlet that she was not comfortable going into details, clarifying that she had not met nor spoken to the 54-year-old Bravo star.
She added that she was shocked to hear of Kyle’s separation from her husband, Mauricio Umansky, and wanted to respect the privacy of all involved.
“We’re dealing with somebody’s marriage here, and I don’t take that lightly. I don’t wanna add to anyone’s speculation or opinion one way or another,” Kady explained. “The only people who can speak on Morgan and Kyle’s relationship or friendship or whatever you wanna call it — and to whatever degree that is — are Morgan and Kyle, and that’s it.”
Fans raised eyebrows at the “relationship or friendship” after many noticed the pair’s matching tattoos and silver rings. Kady revealed that she and Morgan once sat for a joint tattoo session, but chose different designs. She added that the country artist once gifted her with a ring, but did not wear a matching one herself.
She said that she could not address the “K” tattoo on Morgan’s arm, which was spotted by observant fans in June, because the duo was no longer communicating when she was inked with the suspicious letter.
Kady clarified that she was the one who called off the romance.
“There were just a lot of things that didn’t add up, and I had to let go and move on without having all of those answers,” she said. “There comes a point where you have to put yourself first and prioritize yourself and value your worth.”
She admitted that her “right decision” was still a “tough” call. Kady added that she had “nothing but positive things to say” about her ex, for whom she still has “love.”
“I only want happiness for others,” she shared. “Everything happens for a reason, and everybody comes into your life for a reason. Whatever God had intended for us to learn from one another, you know, I think that it just ran its course.”
She went on to point out that not everything she puts out on social media is a, “statement.” Kady explained that she often uses social media platforms as outlets for “creative expression.”
“That’s the way that I express and feel and connect with others who are, you know, maybe going through similar things,” she said.
“It’s not like heartbreak is ever fun,” she added. “The healing process is long and hard, and obviously this has brought up wounds that I’ve been working really hard to heal.”
Kyle Richards, whom Morgan took to the 2022 Americana Music Honors & Awards in September, denied divorce rumors in a joint statement with her estranged husband, writing last week that “there has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part.”
