Sutton Stracke’s EPIC DISS To Carlos King After He Accused Her of Using Garcelle Beauvais!
Sutton Stracke is not concerned about Carlos King’s comments about the friendship she shares with Garcelle Beauvais — because the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has no clue who the executive producer is.
Carlos King has made headlines in recent weeks for sharing honest opinions on various “Housewives” on his podcast, “Reality With the King.” King produced the early seasons of Real Housewives of New Jersey and the Atlanta franchise before he was bumped to an executive producer role for later seasons. King was also the creative force behind OWN series, Love & Marriage.
Carlos King did not hold back when discussing “Housewives” friendships during a recent episode. He compared Sutton and Garcelle’s bond to the one that RHOA star, Kandi Burruss, supposedly shares with co-star, Kenya Moore.
“Y’all are the same ones who think Garcelle and Sutton are besties,” King said. “Sutton would never, in real life, befriend Garcelle. It’s all about the alliance.”
King’s comments did not sit well with Garcelle, who responded — “This couldn’t be more wrong but I don’t have to prove anything.”
Sutton Stracke hit back —“If they don’t know by now. SMH. Can’t make this friendship up. Best thing that’s happened to me in a decade.”
Sutton Stracke later did an interview with Hollywood Life and was asked to weigh in on King’s comments regarding her relationship with Garcelle.
“I don’t know who he is,” she said. “I don’t know, but I do know that I have a very real friendship with Garcelle. We text … call. We visit. We’re going on vacation together this summer. We’re really best friends, and I love her so much, and we love our families together and everything.”
Carlos King took the diss with a laugh and responded to the shade on Twitter.
King tweeted — “Did Sutton just Mariah Carey, me? [laughing emoji]. We need her on my podcast to chat! I LOVE it!”
Sutton Stracke was asked to describe the upcoming season of RHOBH, and how the cast dynamic had changed without Lisa Rinna in the mix.
The reality star shared — “I think you’re going to see individual stories, [and] friendships grow. There’s a lot of drama. People have been nervous that there’s not drama because Lisa’s gone. There’s plenty of drama, don’t worry. And I think it’s just a great group of women this season. I’m happy.”
Sutton also revealed if she had been in contact with Rinna since the former soap star was cut from the cast.
I haven’t spoken with Lisa,” she said. “I just think we needed some space. We’ll get there eventually. I’m just really happy for her. I’m happy that she’s doing [American Horror Stories]. I was really pleased to see that for her. Her element is doing scripted and I think she’s going to be great.”
