Fans are speculating that Christine Brown ditched her small summer wedding to secretly swap vows fiancé, David Woolley, after they noticed what appeared to be a wedding ring on her left hand.
The Sister Wives star recently shared her favorite “watermelon hack” on TikTok, slicing the summer fruit in perfect spears, but fans were more fixated on her ring finger than her kitchen skills.
One fan asked — “There’s Christine. There’s a piece of cut-up watermelon. There’s her engagement ring. And there’s… also a wedding band?!?”
Another wrote — “Am I the only one who noticed she’s wearing a wedding band along with the engagement ring? Did they elope?”
A third chimed in — “Noticed too!”
A user said — “First thing I noticed. Good for them,” adding that the couple deserved a “private ceremony before we all see the public one.”
The mom of six and the construction executive got engaged in mid April.
“We’re engaged! David popped the question VERY romantically, and I said YES! I’m so excited and just live in bliss every day!” Christine excitedly captioned an Instagram post, adding hashtags #engaged #newworld #soulmates #loveofmylife.
“David treats me like a queen and tells me I’m beautiful everyday (sic),” Christine told People, at the time. “I’ve never been in love like this before and the world seems like a brighter place with him in it.”
She gushed — “I’m so excited for the wonderful adventure we are going to embark on for the rest of our lives,” she said.
The couple went public with their romance in February, but a source later told the U.S. Sun that they had been secretly seeing each for months when they shared their relationship with the world.
The lovebirds purchased their first home together weeks ahead of announcing their engagement. The U.S. Sun obtained real estate records that confirmed that the couple signed the deed to the new Lehi, Utah home on March 15. The brand new 4,200 square foot house boasts four bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. The house has laminate wood floors downstairs, a carpeted second floor, spacious bedrooms and a large master suite.
The gourmet kitchen features white cabinets, quartz countertops and an island. The community amenities include a clubhouse, outdoor pool, pickleball courts and nature trails. The backyard has stunning views of Mount Timpanogos, the East Mountains, and the Jordan River.
