‘RHONJ’ Star Joe Gorga Sued For NOT Paying His Real Estate Lawyer In $6M Sale

Joe Gorga has been hit with a lawsuit filed by his former lawyer, who alleges that the Real Housewives of New Jersey husband is “refusing” to pay legal fees tied to a $6 million real estate transaction.

The U.S. Sun reports that lawyer, Alan Trembulak, is suing Joe Gorga for $3,337.50 in unpaid legal fees. The lawsuit, filed on June 26, claimed that Gorga hired the attorney to represent him in a $6 million deal, in December 2020.

Court documents stated — “During the period from December 8, 2020 through May 6, 2021, the plaintiff performed legal services for the defendant in connection with the transaction. On May 14, 2021 and June 9, 2021, the plaintiff rendered itemized invoices to the defendant for services performed totaling $3,337.50.”

The complaint claimed — “Despite plaintiff’s demands, the defendant has failed and refused to pay any portion of the amount due. Payment has been demanded and has not been made.”

The services rendered included contract reviews and revisions and teleconferences. Trembulak is also requesting that his former client be required to pay his attorney fees and other lawsuit expenses.

Joe Gorga was reportedly notified of the legal action, via a summons, but has yet to respond to the lawsuit.

The 48-year-old reality star was previously sued for $110,972.58.

The Gorga family, Joe, RHONJ cast member, Melissa, 43, and the couple’s  three children, moved into their Franklin Lakes, New Jersey home in November 2022, after purchasing the property for $950k.

As reported, Joe Gorga was sued the same month for $30,264.06, after contractors accused him of not paying for various construction expenses used for his newly built mansion. County Concrete  Corporation alleged that they provided materials purportedly totaling $110,972.58 from September 2021 to January 2022.

The documents alleged — “The Plaintiff has attempted on multiple occasions to contact the defendants.”

“The defendants have failed to pay the monies owed to the plaintiff for the materials that were previously provided.”

“The defendants have failed to fulfill their obligations with the plaintiff. The defendants’ failure to do so constitutes a breach of contract.”

The concrete company demanded a jury trial. Joe Gorga responded to the lawsuit, denying all allegations levied against him.

Legal documents alleged — “Plaintiff’s claims are barred by fraud. Plaintiff failed to act in good faith in this transaction and is barred from recovery.”

“The parties reached an agreement for a lesser amount than alleged and said agreement should be enforced. Defendant Gorga was and is acting in his corporate capacity and there is no basis in law for the claim against him personally.”

Joe Gorga requested that a judge toss the case and require County Concrete Corporation to pay his legal fees.

The couple’s return to the Bravo series remains a question mark, as the network has reportedly paused production amid a bitter family feud between the pair and Gorga’s sister, RHONJ star, Teresa Giudice.
