Kroy Biermann Talks ‘Loyalty’ and His Journey To Self Improvement Amid Messy Divorce
Kroy Biermann wants to better himself amid his contentious divorce from his wife of 11 years, Kim Zolciak.
On Friday, the former NFL player explained to his Instagram followers that he had embarked on a “journey of self improvement,” sharing about a “really cool part of the book” he had been reading. Kroy explained that the book had encouraged him to “appraise [him]self according to several specific character traits.”
The Don’t Be Tardy alum said — “They offered six questions to reflect upon, answer and journal upon to see where I am in my journey of self-improvement.” Press play below to watch.
The 37-year-old shared the questions with his followers in subsequent images, which addressed character traits such as loyalty, compassion and patience. The former pro athlete took to the post’s comment section to thank his fans and followers for their “support and positivity.”
Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak, 45, announced that that they were parting ways, in May. The estranged couple shares four children, Kroy Jr., 12, Kash, 10, and 9-year-old twins Kaia and Kane. Kroy also adopted the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum’s daughters from previous relationships, Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21.
The ex-couple is still cohabitating in their Georgia mansion as the divorce continues to play out in court. Both Kim and Kroy have fired accusations of abuse and Kim went on to request that Kroy be drug tested. Kroy exposed his soon-to-be ex’s alleged gambling addiction, which he said had “financially devastated” the family.
The ongoing divorce did not stop Brielle and Ariana from honoring their dad on Father’s Day.
Brielle Biermann captioned a photo with Kroy — “Happppppy Fathers Day!”
Ariana Biermann revealed that Kroy was with his children on his special day, writing — “Happy father’s day i love you @kroybiermann.”
The ex Atlanta Falcons player reposted both of the sisters’ sentiments, noting that he felt “honored” be in their lives.
Brielle is not picking sides as the divorce war heats up, per a recent report by Us Weekly.
“Everybody knows that Brielle and Kim’s bond is unbreakable, so it was natural for her to take her mom’s side when they filed for divorce,” an insider told the outlet. “Brielle was upset initially because her mom was upset, so she unfollowed Kroy.”
A source clarified that Brielle later walked back her decision.
“After taking some time to take a step back and reevaluate things, Brielle loves her dad, too. Kroy has been there for her in every way and has shown her nothing but love since he came into her life,” the tipster said. “So, Brielle decided to refollow him because she’s not going to take sides in her parents’ separation. She loves them both.”
