Social media users are slamming Bethenny Frankel for ostentatiously displaying her oversized engagement ring, labeling her actions as distasteful.
The former Real Housewives of New York star showed off her 10-carat emerald cut diamond in a video posted to her Instagram account with the caption, “kind of scared of what this might mean for me.” In the clip, a song with the lyrics “one margarita I’mma open my legs, two margaritas I’mma give him some head,” is heard as the Bravolebrity is flashing her massive jewel.
Fans took to the comment section to express their anger at the businesswoman, accusing her of being tasteless. “Such a gross post,” one person commented. Another said, “I have a huge diamond too but I’m never showy about it or try to show off what I own.”
“That is the tackiest emerald-cut diamond ring I have ever seen! The bigger the diamond, the more it looks like it came from a bubblegum machine. Anything over 2.5c is tacky,” one critique said of the gem reportedly valued at $1 million.
Some fans expressed concern about the future of Bethenny Frankel’s relationship with fiance, Paul Bernon. “It won’t be long until this guy disappoints her and she lambastes him all over social media. Big rings don’t make good marriages,” the fan commented.

Bethenny Frankel and Paul Bernon became engaged in 2021 after dating for three years. Following the couple’s engagement announcement, Bethenny gushed about her blossoming romance. “He’s a good person I love. I don’t know if it’s a yin to my yang, but he’s really relaxed, he’s mellow and he’s very, very funny,” Bethenny said of her relationship to the 44-year-old real estate developer and film producer.
