Dolores Catania’s Son Unfollows Joe Gorga on Instagram Following Explosive ‘RHONJ’ Reunion Fallout!
Frankie Catania, the son of Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Dolores Catania and her ex-husband, Frank Catania, was dragged into the drama during the recently aired Season 13 reunion series, and has since iced Joe Gorga from his Instagram feed.
Frankie Catania, 24, followed Luis Ruelas, but did not do the same with Joe Gorga, after his work history with Luis became a hot topic during the third part of the Season 13 RHONJ reunion.
Frank claimed that Luis Ruelas suddenly “closed down” his company and ignored his son’s calls with no explanation, in a previously unseen clip that aired during the second installment of the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion.
“He didn’t tell Frankie,” Frank told Joe Gorga, in the recently released footage. “Frankie was reaching out and called me and said, ‘Dad, what do I do? I’ve been calling Louie and he won’t respond.’”
Joe Gorga asked why Luis did not give his son a warning, to which Frank replied — “That’s the only thing I got a problem with.”
“Normally, I keep my mouth shut. Not today,” Frank told Gorga, Joe Benigno and John Fuda, hinting that he planned to confront Luis, before taking the reunion stage.
Dolores Catania shut down all banter about her son during Part 3 of the reunion series.
“This ends right here about Louie and Frankie’s relationship, ’cause they’re very good,” Dolores firmly said. “So that ends right here.”
The mom of two faced off against Gorga, who clearly wanted to dig into the topic.
Dolores said — “You and I have never had a problem. I don’t want one. I’m very happy and I’m very thankful for Louie and Frankie. Thank you [Louie] for when you hired my son, and that’s it.”
She reiterated — “I’m upset because I don’t want to talk about anything about my son. Frankie has a good job, and that’s all that happened. That’s it. I have no problem with that.”
It appears that Frankie did not like landing in the reunion spotlight and did not appreciate Gorga pushing the subject.
Frank pointed out that cast drama had intensified since Luis came on the scene.
“There have been such angry, angry arguments in this show, and it has never, ever gotten to the point it has gotten to right now,” he said during the reunion. “And the only thing different is Luis.”
Real Housewives of New Jersey fans know that this isn’t the first time that Ruelas’ business practices have been scrutinized.
Luis’ company, Digital Media Solutions, was named in a harassment lawsuit last month for purportedly providing a woman’s phone number as a possible marketing lead.
Court documents stated that a woman named Juanita Williams filed a class-action lawsuit against Choice Health Insurance and DMS earlier this month, claiming that she had received numerous telemarketing calls from both businesses after placing herself on the National Do Not Call Registry.
Juanita Williams alleged in her filing that she was transferred to one of Choice Health’s insurance agents after she picked up one of the company’s calls, in September 2022. The health care company allegedly told her that her number had been generated by Digital Media Solutions as a potential sales lead. She is seeking $1,500 per call.
