NeNe Leakes Back on the Market: Single Again After Cutting Ties with Nyonisela Sioh!
NeNe Leakes has returned to the status of a single woman after terminating her one-year relationship with Nyonisela Sioh.
According to Hollywood Unlocked, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star called it quits with the African fashion designer despite him filing for divorce from his estranged wife, who previously sued NeNe Leakes for emotional distress.
“Narcissists do not have the ability to self reflect,” the former Bravolebrity wrote on Monday. “They cannot see anything wrong with what they do and they only see fault in your reaction. They believe every argument is caused by you, because, to them, there was no problem with their action until you reacted to them. They 100% believe you are the problem and they are the victim.”
She continued, “”A narcissist is the devil.”
Though she didn’t explicitly mention Nyonisela, a significant number of her followers interpreted her message as implicating him.
NeNe Leakes’ association with the CEO of Nyoni Couture began in December 2021 when they were photographed holding hands in Miami. During that time, Nyonisela Sioh was still married to Malomine Tehmeh-Sioh.
In May 2022, Nyonisela Sioh’s wife filed a lawsuit against NeNe, seeking $100,000 in damages. Malomine alleged that the reality star had engaged in an extramarital affair with her husband, causing emotional distress and claiming that NeNe played a role in the dissolution of their marriage.
When Nyonisela initiated the divorce proceedings in November 2022, he claimed September 19, 2021, as the official date of separation from his wife. The significance of the September 19, 2021, date in NeNe’s case lies in the fact that it provides evidence that she did not enter into a relationship with Nyonisela while he was still living with his wife.
Prior to her involvement with Nyonisela — NeNe had been married to Gregg Leakes, her husband of several decades. Unfortunately, Gregg Leakes passed away in September 2021 at the age of 66 following a prolonged battle with colon cancer.
“Today the Leakes family is in deep pain with a broken heart,” a spokesperson for the family said in a statement at the time. “After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones and wife NeNe Leakes.”
“We ask that you pray for peace and strength over their family & allow them to mourn in private during this very, very difficult time.”
