David Beador’s Estranged Wife Lesley Cook Claims He’s Violent As Divorce Battle Heats Up

David Beador’s legal battle with his estranged wife, Lesley Cook, is heating up in the wake of the construction executive’s encounter with his first ex-wife, Real Housewives of Orange County  star Shannon Beador.

David Beador and Lesley Cook filed for temporary restraining orders against each other amid allegations of domestic violence, per court documents obtained by Radar Online.

Lesley is asking an Orange County, CA court to grant an order to protect her, their shared 2-year-old daughter, Anna, her mother, Diana Cook, her two other children, Andris, 14, and 8-year-old daughter Inga, and their two dogs. Lesley alleged in legal docs that the father of her two other children, Eriks Pukke, filed for a temporary order against the former Bravo personality, in August 2022.

Lesley made allegations that David physically “abused” her, her children and their pets. She also claimed that he “destroyed” her property, “threatened” her, and “sexually abused” her.

Lesley alleged that her estranged husband had “controlled” her, as he blocked her from “getting food or basic needs,” stopped her from “accessing or earning money” and “isolated” her from her loved ones. She alleged that David got physical with her mother, back in February.

Mr. Beador begged my mother not to press charges or get a restraining order so she did not do so. My mother sometimes stays with me to watch Anna in my home and Mr. Beador has expressed that he “hates her.” He has called my mother derogatory names and called her fat many times both to my mother and to me,” she claimed.

“I believe my mother is in great bodily harm and is continually harassed by [David],” Lesley said.

Priscella Jaen, a licensed clinical social worker, backed Lesley’s allegations in an attached letter.

Jaen claimed that Lesley turned over “several pieces of evidence documenting erratic behavior” over the past year, including “photographs with bruising on her body.”

Jaen alleged that David Beador “utilized physical aggression toward Lesley’s immediate family” and claimed he had “ongoing display(s) of confusing, unpredictable and inflammatory behavior.”

“Despite exchanges [of their daughter, Anna] being at the Laguna Beach Police Department, David presents as erratic, volatile, angry, hostile, uncooperative, shaky, threatening and not of sound mind,” Jaen claimed, stating that David once left the toddler “on the sidewalk” and supposedly changed her clothes “in front of several police officers” on another occasion.

Jaen said she believes that both Lesley and their daughter are “in an unstable, high-conflict, harassing and threatening situation and environment.”

Jaen and Lesley noted that David owns several firearms.

David asked the court to “deny [Lesley’s] request for a restraining order and grant [his] request,” which he filed for himself and the toddler, last week. He called his estranged wife’s request “purely retaliatory” in the wake of his divorce filing in which he requested legal and physical custody of their child.

Both David and Lesley’s lawyers communicated that the domestic violence restraining orders regarding their respective clients were imminent, which led to both sides striking an “agreement” and signing a “stipulation.”

David went on to claim that Lesley “changed her mind and is unhappy with the agreement [they] entered into last week.” Lesley explained that “since the signing of the stipulation,” David had purportedly “made threats, harasses and creates a hostile environment” for her and their daughter.

David claimed that “intense and heated arguments” between the two had led to Lesley “slapping” him in front of their child and Lesley’s other daughter.

“I now genuinely fear for my safety and that of Anna’s to the point that I have no choice but to bring this request,” he stated, alleging that Lesley is also “attempting to extort” him.

David and Lesley wed in October 2021, after welcoming Anna the previous February. David initially filed for divorce in September 2022 but later dismissed his request.

Shannon filed for divorce in December 2017 after David was unfaithful with Lesley. David and Shannon, who share three daughters — Sophie 21, and 18-year-old twins Stella and Adeline — were married for 17 years.
