Kim Richards Officially Replaces Kathy Hilton On Season 13 ‘RHOBH’
Kathy Hilton has officially moved on from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Kathy’s co-star, Sutton Stracke, shared over the weekend that the cast friend and fan favorite was “missed” during Season 13 filming season.
“Was Kathy missed on the show? Yes,” Sutton told Page Six during a Pride event at her West Hollywood boutique, Sutton Concept, on Sunday.
“But is there a void on the show because Kathy’s not there? No. There’s still comical moments,” she added. “It’s still a great show … but I missed Kathy.”
Kathy Hilton confirmed her exit from the Bravo series on Monday, after appearing for two seasons.
“No, I’m doing ‘Paris in Love,’” Kathy Hilton told E! News, referring to her daughter, Paris Hilton’s Peacock series.
She added — “But I know it’s going to be great. It’s always interesting and fun and lots of drama.”
Fans know that Kathy’s final season alongside half-sister, RHOBH veteran, Kyle Richards, 54, ended in controversy.
Kathy Hilton, 64, and Kyle’s family feud was revived after Lisa Rinna accused Kathy of slamming the cast while suffering a “meltdown” during a cast trip to Aspen.
In March, RHOBH alum, Kim Richards, told Page Six that she was looking forward to stepping in as the family peacemaker in the near future.
“I think this whole thing between the sisters was hard,” Kim, 58, said in a joint interview with her sister, Kyle. “So I’m hopeful that we’ll be able to put it back together soon.”
Kyle Richards also expressed her belief that there was a way back for her and her big sister.
“Obviously, we’re a family and we’ve gone through hard times before and we always come back together,” the Bravo star said. “So that’s my hope again – to have us all come back together.”
Sutton Stracke told the outlet that she and Kathy Hilton have remained friends amid the socialite’s issues with Kyle.
“She’s great, she’s busy,” Stracke said of her pal, adding that they “don’t talk about the show” during their catchup chats. “Kathy and I have more in our lives that we have going on together than the show, so we don’t need to talk about it.”
Sutton Stracke teased that the upcoming RHOBH season will serve up “lots of drama,” despite Kathy being out of the picture.
“I think it’s going to be a really great, fast-paced, fun, exciting show,” she said. “I think that we laugh a lot more, but there’s still a bunch of drama because girl, you cannot get seven women together and not have drama!”
Last month, Erika Jayne hinted that Sutton and Kyle “got into it a little bit” while filming the upcoming season.
“I think that all of us have our differences and I think that we all aired our problems with one another. So if Kyle and I had problems with one another from the past, it got aired,” Sutton said, staying tight-lipped about the rumored cast clash.
She clarified — “But it’s not solely myself and Kyle, it’s all of us. We all worked our differences out with one another.”
“We understand each other on a different level, I think, than any of the other ladies, so it’s always exciting and compelling to see what’s going to happen between us,” Sutton added.
The Season 13 cast stars Sutton, Kyle, Erika, Dorit Kemsley, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Garcelle Beauvais and newcomer, Annemarie Wiley. Bravo has not yet announced a premiere date.
