Kevin Federline Sued By Son’s Private School For $15K Amid Fight With Britney

Kevin Federline has been hit with a lawsuit filed by a private Christian school in California that claims that they’re owed over $15k in tuition for two of his children.

On May 9, the school filed a civil lawsuit against Federline and his wife, Victoria Prince, in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleging that the couple owes $15,593 in tuition for their daughters, Jordan and Peyton. The college-prep institution stated in court documents that the former backup dancer and his wife broke the terms of a contract they signed on August 1, 2018 “by failing to pay for services which had been provided on credit at their special instance and request,” according to Page Six.

The school said that they had demanded payment, but Federline, 45, and Prince, 40, purportedly “failed and refused and continue to fail and refuse to pay all or any part of the remaining balance due.” The facility is also asking for 10 percent interest per annum from May 16, 2019, plus attorney’s fees.

Federline’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, has yet to respond to the allegation.

Federline shares daughter Kori, 20, and son Kaleb, 18, with ex-fiancée Shar Jackson, and two boys, Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden, 16, with ex-wife, Britney Spears. The DJ married Prince, with whom he shares Jordan, 11, and Peyton, 9, in August 2013.

Federline announced that he was moving to Hawaii one week after being hit  with the lawsuit.

Prince, an ex volleyball player, accepted a job offered by a Hawaii university and plans to move with her husband and the couple’s blended family after Preston graduates high school. Kaplan has purportedly been in communication with Spears’ lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, and has requested that the singer give permission for her sons to make the move.

Spears and Federline were married from October 2004-July 2007. The pop star has reportedly not seen either of her boys since early 2022. Spears became separated from Sean and Jayden after she was released from her 13-year conservatorship, in November 2021. Jayden expressed concern about his mother’s mental health in a television interview that Spears called “hateful.”

In August 2022, Federline did an interview with the Daily Mail and accused Spears of not being present for Sean and Jayden. He alleged that he was speaking out because their sons were worried about their mother.

A source told Page Six at the time — “Kevin did the interview because he and the boys are upset. They worry that everyone is completely ignoring the fact that Britney is [battling mental issues], which is not a secret.”

The week prior, Federline called out his ex for posting risqué photos of herself on Instagram.

He said — “Look, maybe that’s just another way she tries to express herself. But that doesn’t take away from the fact of what it does to them. It’s tough. I can’t imagine how it feels to be a teenager having to go to high school.”

TMZ recently reported that Spears and her two sons had been exchanging “occasional texts” in recent days.
