The Shahs of Sunset alum recently spoke to ET about her weight loss journey at the 2023 Vanderpump Dogs Gala at The Maybourne in Beverly Hills, California.

“I don’t see a reason to hide being on a weight loss [medication] or a cosmetic procedure, just talk about it because there’s so many people out there who want to do the same thing or they want to learn about what you did,” Gharachedaghi said.

She continued — “Obviously, I didn’t look like this two months ago. So all of a sudden to lose almost 30 pounds, I would be a liar to say I quit drinking alcohol and you know all of a sudden started working out like some people like to say.”

Gharachedaghi clarified that she has still has an appetite, despite taking the anti-diabetic medication.

“I’m actually a little hungry. Look I’m gonna go smoke a little pot and I’m gonna eat definitely,” she said.

Gharachedaghi came clean about using Ozempic for weight loss back in February, after announcing that she had dropped 11 pounds. She took to Instagram to show fans how to inject themselves, describing her experience with the generic version of the popular drug, semaglutide. She also put celebs on blast for hiding their own weight loss secrets.

“I am on the weight-loss shots, honey, OK,” she said. “I’m just not going to lie about it because I always keep it real about what is fake.”

“If you see people out there who just got skinny so fast all of a sudden and claimed they got healthy for the first time in their lives … most likely, they’re just doing the shots,” she pointed out. “It’s not rocket science.”

While Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG, Kyle Richards, flatly denied using Ozempic to achieve her weight loss goals, multiple Real Housewives of New Jersey stars came clean to Bravo executive, Andy Cohen, while appearing on his chat show, Watch What Happens Live.

“I wasn’t going to come to the reunion looking any bigger than anyone else, so I got on the bandwagon,” Dolores Catania admitted, last month.

When Cohen questioned Dolores about the Ozempic’s side effects, she replied — “Just not hungry.”

Dolores clarified that she was “actually [taking] Mounjaro.”

Dolores’ co-star, Jennifer Fessler, confessed to using peptides, a variation of the drug, in March.

Meghan McCain recently penned a column on the subject for DailyMail.com, after being “urged” to take the controversial drug after the birth of her second child.

“I understand some people legitimately struggle with obesity and need Ozempic. But I am not one of those people. Which is why I have been really astonished by how many, from casual friends to industry acquaintances, have brought it up with me,” McCain wrote. “I’m told ‘everyone is doing it,’ as if that was ever a compelling case. I hear ‘just take the shot’, as it has become known in shorthand. I was even offered a black-market freebie by someone with ‘extra shots at home.’”

McCain, who confirmed that she had rejected the medication, added—”There’s a clear moral issue here. It’s hard to take a drug because swimsuit season is around the corner, while others need it to stay alive.”
