Gia Giudice Graduates From Rutgers and Ready To Tackle Law School
Teresa Giudice’s eldest daughter, Gia Giudice, graduated from Rutgers University on Monday, with a degree in criminal justice. The proud Real Housewives of New Jersey star took to Instagram to gush over the 22-year-old’s big achievement.
“I am so proud of my devoted and intelligent daughter, Gia, for graduating a stellar university, a huge milestone to accomplish in life,” Teresa wrote alongside a cute photo of her daughter in her cap and gown.
The reality star continued — “Seeing you graduate college is one of the most special moments in my life. You definitely paved the path of success for your sisters, and you are an inspiration to them and me.”
Teresa Giudice wrapped her heartfelt tribute, writing—I am so excited to see what your future holds. You have always been a leader and a determined individual. Your attributes are admirable, and I have no doubt that you will do anything less than reach for the stars. I love you to infinity and beyond!”
Gia Giudice replied to the message in the comment section, writing—“I love you sooo much ❤️❤️❤️.”
In February, Gia revealed what she planned to do next, after graduating from college.
The grad will be working at Martinez Immigration, a virtual law firm run by sole practitioner, Kathleen Martinez.
The lawyer announced the news on January 30, via an Instagram video.
“What? Like it’s hard?” the post’s caption read, giving a nod to iconic film “Legally Blonde.” “We are so excited to welcome [Gia Giudice] to the firm!! Welcome to Martinez Immigration firm, Gia!”
Martinez explained in the post’s comment section that Teresa’s daughter “wants to help immigrants more than people realize,” adding, “her heart is so big for that.”
Bravo TV previously interviewed Gia about her post-grad goals.
“After I graduate, I am pursuing my dream of going to law school,” she said. “My hope for the future is to become a very successful lawyer and have a lucrative clothing business on the side.”
Gia Giudice also shared that her father, Joe Giudice, was “doing really well” living in the Bahamas after he was initially deported to his native Italy, in 2019.
“He’s working with a construction company right now in the Bahamas,” she said. “We’re very happy for him.”
During a 2021 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Gia explained that her parents’ experiences with the legal system inspired her interest in the law. Teresa served 11 months behind bars in 2015 and Joe remains committed to exploring legal options following his post-prison deportation.
“Their whole experience influenced me, honestly, for the better,” Gia explained during the May 2021 episode. “I just want to help families and be able to be there for families and help children, honestly, especially.”
