Fans Rally Around Tammy Slaton as She Achieves Unassisted Walking Milestone Post Weight Loss

Tammy Slaton has been spotted running errands after dropping almost 300 pounds. 

The 1000-lb Sisters star was photographed walking in and out of a gas station before hitting up a grocery store in Indiana, last Thursday, Page Six reports.

Tammy Slaton even walked unassisted while outside the gas station, free from any sort of stroller or walking apparatus, while attached to her oxygen tube. She did use the grocery store’s mobility scooter while inside the market and in the parking lot. She also leaned on a rolling walker during the outing. 

The 36-year-old wore loose black yoga pants, a long-sleeved gray T-shirt, and black and white slippers for her errand run.   

The TLC star once tipped the scales at over 700 pounds, but dropped nearly 300 pounds after undergoing bariatric surgery, in 2022. The show followed Tammy as she entered an Ohio weight loss rehab facility, during the most recent season. 

Tammy qualified for the life-changing procedure after losing more than 150 pounds, reaching her pre-surgery goal of 550 pounds. A recent episode featured Tammy getting the green light to move forward with the surgery.

“I’m feeling thrilled, proud, excited — just all the emotions. I proved everybody wrong. Everybody that doubted me, I finally got mine! My told-you-so moment!” Tammy said on the February 7 episode of the hit TLC show. 

An insider confirmed that the TLC star had not smoked, vaped or consumed alcohol for nine months, while receiving treatment at the clinic. Tammy confessed that she guzzled eight bottles of booze a week, in a previous 1000-lb Sisters episode. The TLC show featured Tammy eating pizza, vaping and asking friends for shots of alcohol before she checked into rehab, weighing 700 pounds.  

Tammy admitted on the show that she had previously checked herself into a facility in 2021, in an effort to kickstart a healthy lifestyle. 

In November, Tammy married Caleb Willingham at the same place the couple met, Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio.

“You all knew me as Tammy Slaton, but now you’ll all know me as Mrs. Tammy Willingham,” Tammy proudly announced, at the time. “I’m married now!”

Last month, Tammy raised concerns among fans when she was snapped cheating on her diet in a fast food parking lot. Tammy and her sister, Amy Slaton, seemingly caved to cravings over the Easter holiday, as they visited a Kentucky McDonald’s, per a report by the U.S. Sun. Tammy was seen holding a McDonald’s takeout bag in the front seat of a car while Amy lounged in the back seat, in pics published by the outlet.

The sisters headed home after pulling through the drive-thru, but apparently made a pitstop at a local Wendy’s, as Amy was spotted holding a drink from the fast food joint as she got out of the car and walked up their driveway. 

Tammy Slaton and Amy Slaton also trekked to their local Walmart, over Easter weekend. Tammy was caught vaping while riding on a shopping scooter alongside her oxygen tank. A source told the outlet that the siblings were inside the store for almost two hours.

Tammy and Amy exited with carts full of toys and treats, including Twinkies and chips, according to the outlet’s snitch. Tammy was seen vaping as she cruised through the parking lot with her load of junk food.
