Luann de Lesseps Targeting Kevin Costner As Her Next Love Conquest
Luann de Lesseps has her eye on a famous movie star in her ongoing search for love.
On Monday, Page Six asked the former Real Housewives of New York City star about her love life at the premiere of “Book Club: The Next Chapter” in New York City.
“Kevin Costner,” she declared. “He’s so elegant.”
The 57-year-old added of her top pick — “He’s my type.”
She continued — “At the Oscars didn’t you think he was amazing? His speech. He was so elegant, so eloquent, so manly.”
Kevin Costner was purportedly “stunned” when his wife, Christine Baumgartner, filed for divorce after an 18-year marriage, earlier this month. Baumgartner was reportedly unhappy over how much time the 68-year-old actor spent away from home while preparing for his upcoming film, “Horizon.” The estranged couple share three children together.
The cabaret star confirmed that she’s “not dating anyone in particular right now.”
“But I am dating,” she added. “No one to write home about. I wish.”
Luann was spotted with her ex, Jacques Azoulay, at a Broadway opening in March.
Fans of the popular reality star know that she was married to Tom D’Agostino for a year, before the chaotic couple called it quits in 2017. Luann admitted that she was taken aback after her ex described his current fiancée, designer Danielle Rollins, to the Daily Mail as “someone very elegant, very quiet, the complete opposite” of the Bravo star.
“Shocking,” Luann said, before mouthing, “weird.”
Luann de Lesseps revealed that she was waiting for confirmation that a RHONY themed “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” is in her future.
“I think it will [happen], so let’s see,” she shared. “We’re waiting. We’re just waiting on the green light.”
When asked which Bravo alums might land on the new RHUGT cast, Luann played it cool.
“I can’t really say,” she said. “I just know some of our favorite Housewives will be back if we do the show. It’s still up in the air.”
Luann clarified that she would have no problem if her former co-star, Bethenny Frankel, signed on to the Peacock series.
In March, Luann reportedly stormed out of the Broadway opening of “Bad Cinderella,” after discovering that she was seated close to the Skinnygirl mogul. The “Feeling Jovani” singer later clarified that she made a quick exit with her date because she wasn’t feeling well.
Bethenny Frankel, who attended the play with her daughter, Bryn Hoppy, addressed the situation on a subsequent episode of her podcast, “ReWives,” commenting — “respond by saying this: It must be painful and challenging and really obsessive to be so fixated on someone else.”
The 52-year-old expressed sympathy for the “Countess Cabaret” star, who she believes “spends a lot of time talking about [her] in her cabaret and in the media and on podcasts.”
“It’s time to sort of focus on yourself versus being so consumed with somebody else,” Bethenny advised. “I wish her the very, very best, and I wish her a speedy recovery if she didn’t feel well during ‘Bad Cinderella’ halfway through.”
Luann went on to admit that filming alongside her famous frenemy would be “trickier.”
