Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Kim Zolciak, is about to face the heat from the IRS.

Kim Zolciak, 44, and her husband, Kroy Biermann, 37, have found themselves in hot water with the IRS — the couple owes the government more than $1 million in unpaid taxes.

Legal documents reveal the shocking news that Kim and Kroy have accumulated a staggering debt of $1.1 million in unpaid taxes, interest, and penalties. The unpaid amounts are said to be from the years 2013, 2017, and 2018. This revelation has certainly put the couple in a difficult situation with the government, and they will need to take immediate action to rectify their tax situation.

To add to their financial troubles, Kim and Kroy also owe the state of Georgia $15,000 in unpaid taxes for the year 2018. This latest revelation further highlights the extent of their tax problems and the urgent need for them to address the situation.The couple faces legal consequences if they fail to resolve their outstanding tax debts.

Kim and Kroy’s financial difficulties seem to be piling up. In addition to their tax woes, their Georgia mansion faced foreclosure earlier this year. The couple defaulted on a $1.65 million loan that they had taken out in 2016 for the property. As a result, the mansion was put up for auction in February 2023. The fact that they were unable to keep up with their mortgage payments underscores the seriousness of their financial situation.

As reported, Kim had strongly denied reports that her Alpharetta estate was undergoing foreclosure. In fact, she even addressed her “haters” directly, stating that she planned to stay in her home for as long as she wanted. She was quoted saying, “I’m here until I f–king want to move out. ‘Til I decide I don’t want to live here anymore.” However, the fact that the mansion was eventually put up for auction in February makes it clear that Kim’s previous statements may not have been entirely accurate.

The couple was able to negotiate an agreement that allowed them to remain in the property. The law office of Brock & Scott, PLLC, which was handling the foreclosure proceedings, later confirmed that the auction of the home, which had been scheduled for March 7th, was ultimately canceled. The terms of the deal were not made public.

Speculations are swirling that Kim Zolciak’s recent financial difficulties may have prompted her to make a cameo in the Season 15 trailer of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Given her outstanding debts and the foreclosure of their Georgia mansion, it’s possible that Kim is looking to boost her income and reestablish her financial standing.
