‘RHONJ’ Star Danielle Cabral Accused of FRAUD In Pending Lawsuit

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Cabral is facing a lawsuit for reportedly committing “fraud,” against her previous representation.

High-power lawyer, Duncan Levin, fired off a legal letter to Danielle Cabral’s attorney, James Leonard Jr., on May 3. The letter alleges that Danielle collaborated with his client, Avantgarde Communications Group, to secure a position on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Duncan Levin further stated that after the couple were successfully cast on the Bravo reality series — they proceeded to block and ignore his client’s communication.

The letter obtained by In Touch claimed that Inna Lapin, the head of Avantgarde Communications Group, was solely responsible for securing a spot for the couple on The Real Housewives of New Jersey in Season 13.

“Ms. Cabral owes Avantgarde a commission under its very clear terms. Yet, your client has refused to honor the contract she signed,” Levin wrote in the letter sent to the Cabral’s attorney. “Now that Ms. Cabral is on television, she has clearly decided she is above her contractual obligations and unrecognizing of anyone who may have helped her along the way. It is not only wrong, but it is a clear violation of their contract.”

Lapin allegedly contacted a casting director of Real Housewives of New Jersey in May 2021 to recommend Danielle Cabral for the show. The letter further stated that in January 2022, Lapin received an email from the casting director thanking her for the casting suggestions.

Lapin claims that she became aware in April 2022 that Danielle was being considered for Real Housewives of New Jersey. Following this, Danielle allegedly blocked Lapin on all social media platforms and did not respond to Lapin’s attempts to reach out via phone and email.

Furthermore, Danielle’s husband is also being accused of fraud. According to the letter, Nate Cabral failed to pay, Justin Nazarian, for his services as a website developer. The letter claimed that Nate hired Nazarian to create a landing page for his business but did not pay him for the last five months of invoices for search engine optimization (SEO) services. These services were allegedly carried out to enhance Nate’s public image.

In conclusion, Avantgarde Communications Group and Justin Nazarian are demanding payment for the outstanding amount owed to them. The letter also warned that if the Cabrals do not settle the debt, the clients may pursue legal action to recover the unpaid fees.

Danielle and Nate Cabral made their first appearance on the Bravo reality TV series, Real Housewives of New Jersey during the 13th season, which premiered in February 2023.

During her first season, Danielle Cabral has been involved in several conflicts, including one with the housewife-turned-friend, Jackie Goldschneider, as well as with Margaret Josephs. Throughout the season, Danielle and Jackie have had a tumultuous relationship, while Danielle’s friendship with Margaret turned into an ugly feud with low blows being flung.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Tuesday nights, at 9:00pm ET, on Bravo.
