Kathryn Dennis Responds To Losing ‘Permanent’ Custody of Her Kids

Kathryn Dennis fired a shot at her ex, Thomas Ravenel, after the  businessman was awarded permanent sole custody of their two children.

The axed Southern Charm star posted a cryptic message that appeared to address the situation, only hours after the judge’s ruling hit the press.

After All About The Tea’s exclusive report, Kathryn posted a clip of a recommended television show on her Instagram Story and the title grabbed the attention of her fans and followers. The 31-year-old shared that she had been watching “Gaslit,” starring Julia Roberts and Sean Penn, highlighting the title of the limited series to seemingly press her point.

As exclusively reported, the Charleston County Family Court awarded the South Carolina native permanent sole custody of the ex-couple’s two children, Kensington Calhoun Ravenel, 9, and Saint Julien Rembert Ravenel, 7.

Thomas Ravenel, 60, confirmed to AllAboutTheTea.com,  “I was awarded sole custody. I make all the parenting decisions. Kathryn [Dennis] has the right to supervised visitation by an approved supervisor [approved by the court] between the hours of 9:00am — 7:00pm, every other weekend.”

“She’s not allowed to have overnights with the children. I will transport the children to a halfway point between Aiken and Charleston where Kathryn will pick them up,” Thomas explained.

He added — “I am beyond grateful for the outcome of this custody battle and for being granted sole custody of my children. Family is the most important thing in my life, and I will do everything in my power to ensure that my kids have a happy and stable future. This has been a challenging journey, but with the support of my loved ones and legal team, justice  prevailed.”

Kathryn recently settled an eviction lawsuit and hawked items on Charleston’s Facebook Marketplace as she prepared to move.

Ms. Dennis is moving and is simply trying to decrease the amount of things she needs to move and/or store in her new place,” her rep told Radar Online, in April.

Bravo cut Kathryn from the Southern Charm cast in January, after eight seasons. Kathryn’s mistreatment of staffers and multiple “no-shows,” led to the decision.

An insider told AllAboutTheTea.com that the network’s action came after Kathryn accused her ex, Chleb Ravenell, of physical assault. An alleged internal investigation could not prove her claim but due to potential legal liabilities, Bravo purportedly decided to let both Chleb and Kathryn go.

Kathryn accused her ex-boyfriend, Chleb Ravenell, of physically assaulting her, and the allegation caused a firestorm for production. Kathryn told producers that Chleb punched her in the face during a heated argument, which resulted in a black-eye and swollen jaw. Bravo conducted an investigation and at the conclusion of their investigation Chleb was fired from Southern Charm. Later, Kathryn was also fired because of the legal liability the allegations posed. They can’t really prove Chleb assaulted her, and  her injuries could stem from fillers and Botox.”

The source continued:

“Producers grew tired of Kathryn two seasons ago, and they were slowly phasing her out after she became a total diva and a liability to work with; but after the shaky domestic violence allegations, they finally pulled the trigger.”

The local snitch added:

“Plus Kathryn’s mental health issues and drug use was affecting her ability to show up and do her job effectively. Her cast members and producers became fed up with her total disregard for their time, constantly missing events or showing up late, and random unprovoked outbursts.”

Season 9 of Southern Charm is currently filming, expected to air later this year.
