‘1000-Lb. Sisters’ Amy Slaton’s 9-Month Old Plays In Filthy ‘Disgusting’ Home, Fans Call CPS

1000-Lb Sisters star, Amy Slaton, grabbed the attention of TikTok users after she posted an eyebrow-raising clip of her youngest son, Glenn. The nine month old was seen playing on a messy floor littered with trash and diapers, in the TLC star’s video.

The baby was filmed crawling around a wood floor, wearing tan shorts, a T-shirt and socks. Amy shared her excitement after the little one leaned on a suitcase to stand, gushing over the milestone.

“Glenn stood up,” the proud mother wrote in her caption.

This is not the first time the welfare of Amy’s kids has been under fire. Back in January 2022, during an episode of 1000-Lb Sisters, Amy was in the process of moving. As she cleaned out her son’s room, what she found under his crib horrified fans. Under the baby’s crib were rodent droppings and dead roaches. Viewers were completely disgusted and concerned about Gage’s welfare.

A few fans pointed out that Amy Slaton was not prioritizing Gage’s health by not keeping his surroundings clean.

In another TikTok video, the TLC personality posted a video of herself, sitting inside her car. Amy rocked purple hair and filter-produced fake eyelashes in the footage. The reality star, who was wearing a black lace top underneath a light gray sweater, set her video against Alicia Keys hit, “Girl on Fire.”

She captioned the video “A true queen turn her pain to power!”

Fans cheered Amy on in the comment section, sending messages of love and support amid the reality star’s messy breakup.

On February 28, the 35-year-old filed an order of emergency protection, an order to surrender firearms, and a protective order summons against her husband, Michael Halterman, 40.

Amy made a 911 call four days before filing for the order of protection, alleging that Michael had become “violent” in the family home. Amy claimed that her husband began “throwing things” during an argument, according to the 911 dispatch document.

Michael filed for divorce in a Kentucky court seventeen days after the heated incident.

Michael denied all allegations of domestic violence on March 7. Court documents confirmed that Michael had filed for dissolution of marriage by March 13.

A source told the U.S. Sun that the pair had been secretly arguing for months. An insider connected to 1000-lb Sisters told the outlet that Amy wanted her boys to continue to appear on the show, but Michael was against it.

Michael doesn’t want the kids to be on the show, but Amy disagrees,” the source said.

The outlet later reported details regarding Amy’s allegations against Michael.

The reality star alleged, via court documents — “[Michael] is mentally abusive… He’s very controlling.”

She added — “The night of 2/24/23 he got mad that I went to take the kids with my sister to eat.”

She claimed that Michael was “too violent” with their two sons, Glenn and his older brother, Gage, 2.

She said — “When disciplining the boys he hits too hard. He pulls them by the arm.”

Amy also alleged that her husband “won’t give me money for our eight-month-old.”

She stated — “He makes me do everything with the house, boys, and has no job.”
