Savannah Chrisley Kicked Off a Southwest Airlines Flight After ‘Unruly’ Ruckus
Savannah Chrisley put Southwest Airlines on blast for calling her an “unruly passenger” after the Chrisley Knows Best alum argued with one of their employees.
The 25-year-old took to Instagram to tell her side of the airport saga, explaining that she was homebound to Tennessee from New York when an attendant “threw her off the flight” because she refused to check her carry-on bag.
“Alright guys, so I officially know why everyone hates Southwest so much. I mean absolutely hates it — the worst thing in the entire world,” Savannah said in a video posted on her Instagram Stories.
She zoomed her camera in on a man standing at her gate, adding — “This man right here … um, awful. I went to board my flight to get on and he told me that I had to check my bag. I was like, ‘Okay, if you wouldn’t mind, I’m gonna take my bag on the flight, see if I can’t make it fit and if not, I’ll check it.’”
The staffer rejected Savannah’s request and supposedly called her an “unruly passenger” for pressing him to accommodate her.
The pilot stepped in to smooth things over, allegedly telling the attendant to “calm down,” adding “that he was going to find a place” for her bag.
Savannah Chrisley went on — “The Southwest attendant literally looked at the pilot — the man who is flying our plane and is responsible for our safety, the most important person in the airline — and said, ‘Stay out of it … ma’am you’re not flying on this flight.’”
Savannah Chrisley said that she tried to convince the attendant to let it slide, explaining that she needed to get back to her 10-year-old niece, Chloe. The reality TV personality admitted that she did call the worker an “a**hole.”
Savannah was given custody of her brother, Grayson, and her niece after her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, turned themselves in to serve out their respective prison sentences for fraud and tax evasion.
“And well, the Southwest attendant said, ‘I don’t care,’” she continued. “So Southwest, you’re awful but not going to lie … your pilot was kinda hot.”
Savannah later returned to her Story to dish more details about the luggage squabble.
She said — “In case another story comes out, after he told me he didn’t care if I got home to my 10-year-old … I told him that I hope he finds a better purpose for his life. Maybe I shouldn’t have said it, but the devil came over me and Jesus did not come out.”
Savannah confessed that her focus shifted to the “real good-looking pilot” as she waited for another flight. She launched a Q&A with fans and appeared to be on board when one person suggested that she “find the hot pilot.”
Savannah finally landed in her home state around 2 a.m, after scoring a whole row of seats to herself.
