Ariana Madix Once Suggested Being In A ‘Throuple’ with Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss
Ariana Madix once joked about being in a “throuple” with her ex, Tom Sandoval, and his undercover lover, Raquel Leviss, before the Vanderpump Rules duo’s bombshell affair was exposed.
Ariana Madix got cozy with Sandoval, 40, and her then-friend during their August 2022 trip to Mexico, where the group attended Scheana Shay and Brock Davies’ wedding.
Bravo aired the deleted scene on Wednesday, which featured Madix posing topless for photos between her then-boyfriend and Raquel, 28. When the friend snapping the photos commented that he liked Raquel’s sunglasses and Sandoval’s mustache, Raquel called the look “a vibe.” The former pageant queen added after seeing the shots that they could “never surface.”
Ariana Madix, 37, agreed, “They go nowhere. It’s just us.”
However, Sandoval guessed that the phone snaps would likely “go everywhere.” Ariana floated to the opposite end of the hot tub, laughing over how much the trio looked like “a throuple on a romantic getaway” as she was “in nude underwear covering [her] boobs.”
Sandoval and Raquel had already hooked up prior to the group trip to Mexico and kissed again during the getaway, according to Shay’s dress designers, Patrik Simpson and Pol’ Atteu.
Sandoval and Raquel’s affair went on for months, and Wednesday’s episode began to tease the bombshell when James Kennedy’s girlfriend, Ally Lewber, saw the duo on the dance floor at 1 a.m., without Madix.
The cheating scandal broke in March after Madix discovered an explicit video of Raquel on the bar owner’s phone. She immediately dumped her boyfriend of nine years, noting on Instagram two weeks later that whatever “doesn’t kill [her] better run.”
The actress has stayed busy in the weeks since “Scandoval” made headlines, filming a Lifetime movie in Canada and facing off with her co-stars during a reportedly raucous Season 10 reunion taping. She was most recently spotted in a make-out session with personal trainer, Daniel Wai, at Coachella.
Earlier this month, Sandoval said that he and Raquel were “taking a break” during an appearance on the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast.
Raquel checked into a facility to receive mental health counseling, last week.
The Bravoleb did not enter the facility for rehab but for “mental health and trauma therapy,” according to her spokesperson.
Some followers of the drama questioned Raquel’s claim and many believed that the Bravo star was actually relaxing at an upscale Arizona spa — not seeking help for her admitted issues.
Many fans called out Sandoval after he shared that he was in the same state where Raquel was seeking mental health treatment.
On April 17, Sandoval revealed on his Instagram Story that he had planned a solo trip to Arizona’s Miraval Resorts, to find peace. He blasted the company for teasing on social media that he was staying at the resort while Raquel underwent mental health counseling.
