Lisa Hochstein Demands Alimony, Claims ‘RHOM’ Paycheck Is NOT Sufficient
Lisa Hochstein wants her estranged husband, Lenny Hochstein, to pay alimony, claiming that her Real Housewives of Miami paycheck is not sufficient to care for her and the ex-couple’s two children.
The Peacock star filed new court documents that state her “part time” gig on Real Housewives of Miami will not support their lifestyles, Page Six reports. Lisa and Lenny share two children, Logan, 7, and daughter Elle, 3.
“She has primarily been a homemaker and mother throughout the parties’ marriage,” the filing said.
The documents state that, “[Lenny] has significant and substantial assets and earns millions of dollars a year as [a] successful plastic surgeon.” The filing added that “without [Lenny’s] contribution, [Lisa] cannot provide the needs and necessities of life as they were established during the marriage.”
The plastic surgeon revealed in October 2020 court documents that Lisa was bringing in $30k per episode of RHOM.
Lisa Hochstein, 40, is also asking the court to require Lenny, 56, to pay for her medical and dental insurance as well as “non-covered medical, dental and eye care” in addition to her request for “temporary alimony.”
The reality star also wants Lenny to provide temporary child support and to cover the kids’ health insurance. She is requesting that the alimony and child support be paid retroactively to the filing date.
Lisa has not left the marital home, despite the couple’s prenuptial agreement calling for her to vacate the property in the event of a divorce. She is now asking to be awarded “exclusive use and occupancy” of the Star Island mansion for herself and the ex-couple’s children.
“[Lenny] has the means to and has already established an alternate, luxurious residence,” the documents read.
A hearing is scheduled for April 19 to address Lisa’s requests.
“I pay for everything currently. I even paid for her recent vacation to Colorado with the kids, but instead of a ‘thank you,’ which I never expected, I get claims that I do not pay for child support or health insurance? Simply not true,” Lenny told Page Six, in response to the reality star’s latest filing.
He added — “Obviously her new lawyers, just like her old lawyer, seems to think that disparaging me is a good strategy. Nothing surprises me anymore.”
Lisa denied that Lenny financed her Colorado trip, claiming that her boyfriend, Jody Glidden, paid for the getaway.
“My top priority remains my children. To be clear, Lenny didn’t pay for any of my travel. My boyfriend took me on vacation and even spent money for my children’s travel and expenses as Lenny fought paying his share,” Lisa said.
Lenny filed for divorce in May. Lisa has maintained that her ex cheated on her with model, Katharina Mazepa, but Lenny denied that he was involved with his current girlfriend while still in his marriage.
In November, the mom of two told the court that she was unable to buy diapers and food for her children because Lenny had cut off access to her credit cards.
