Andy Cohen is pissed about Tom Sandoval’s interview with Howie Mandel, in which Sandoval talked about his affair with Raquel Leviss and his breakup with Ariana Madix.

The Bravo boss expressed his disappointment in Tom Sandoval for discussing such personal matters on another show and not addressing them on Watch What Happens Live. He also questioned the motive behind the interview and suggested that Sandoval was trying to gain sympathy from Mandel.

On Tuesday, April 11, Sandoval appeared on Howie Mandel’s podcast, to discuss his affair with Raquel Leviss, as well as his relationship with his ex-girlfriend of nine years, Ariana, whom he cheated on with Raquel.

“I still love Ariana, and I care about her very much,” he said. “But we, for a while, had sort of just our own lives.” Sandoval also claimed to have broken up with Madix already, adding that she was “in denial.”

“You need to be heard because the narrative is everyone else’s but yours,” Howie Mandel said. “I’m not condoning cheating on a partner…. I think some people have to have empathy and compassion.”

Sandoval was criticized on social media after appearing on Howie Mandel’s podcast and discussing his affair with Raquel Leviss and his relationship with Ariana Madix, and comedian Howie Mandel was criticized for not knowing much about Vanderpump Rules. Even Andy Cohen, who hosts the Vanderpump Rules reunions, chimed in with his own criticisms.

Howie Mandel, “didn’t do his homework” according to Andy Cohen, and called him a “Jackhole.”

Andy added, “Howie, you have to be careful before you take a side. Bravo fans are very passionate.”

Lala Kent, who has been openly critical of Tom Sandoval since the news of his affair with Raquel broke, expressed her opinion on the interview via Instagram Stories. “It’s not that I don’t dig Howie Mandel. Dope, cool, got it, whatever, but what a weird fucking first interview,” she said.

An “insider” reportedly told The Sun on Tuesday that Tom Sandoval’s appearance on Howie Mandel’s podcast discussing his affair with Raquel and his relationship with Ariana could be a fireable offense.

Vanderpump Rules producers “had no clue he was doing this, of course not. They never would have allowed it,” the source said. “They’re putting so much time and energy into making sure the rest of the season is better than any other season and hyping up the reunion. So, him pulling this bitch move is basically producers’ worst-case scenario.”

Although Tom Sandoval’s interview received a lot of attention, it is unlikely that he will be fired from Vanderpump Rules. However, the possibility cannot be ruled out entirely.

Vanderpump Rules airs Wednesday nights, at 9pm EST, on Bravo.
