Tom Sandoval Describes Raquel Leviss As ‘Beautiful’ and ‘Amazing,’ Calls Their First Kiss ‘Magnetic’

Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval gave his first interview after breaking up with Ariana Madix, in which he shared details about what he claimed was his first kiss with co-star Raquel Leviss.

On the latest episode of the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast, Tom Sandoval revealed details about what he claimed was his first kiss with co-star, Raquel Leviss. He said, “Had hung out two nights … like, one night, and then a couple nights later, we hung out again.”

“We literally talked ’til the sun came up the first night with my friend Brett,” Sandoval explained. He recalled the meet-up happened after, “guys’ night at the Mondrian” which occurred at a Los Angeles hotel where Raquel Leviss and her then-friend Scheana Shay had crashed in August 2022.

Tom Sandoval, 40, went on to reveal that he and Raquel Leviss, 28, hung out again after the See You Next Tuesday event at a West Hollywood restaurant, which her ex-fiancé, James Kennedy, typically DJs.

“And then we were back at my house, just talking,” Tom Sandoval continued, claiming he was “locked out” of the home he shares with Ariana Madix, whom he was still dating at the time.

“We just kissed. It was magnetic,” he said of smooching Raquel Leviss. “We were talking, moving closer, and as we were talking, as time went on, we would just start talking closer and closer, and then all of a sudden, we’re kissing.”

“I felt something that I hadn’t felt in so long, like, emotionally,” Tom Sandoval shared, going on to describe Raquel as “so awesome,” “so kind,” “smart,” “witty,” “fun,” “beautiful” and “f–king amazing.”

Tom Sandoval revealed that Raquel was his source of support and strength when he was struggling in his relationship with Ariana, before their friendship took a romantic turn.

Ariana Madix found a sexually explicit video of Raquel Leviss on Tom Sandoval’s phone, which revealed that the two had been engaging in “inappropriate communication” for several months.

Ariana was devastated and felt “heartbroken” and “blindsided” by the affair, which led her to immediately end her almost decade-long relationship with Sandoval.

Many fans of Vanderpump Rules criticized Sandoval after he broke his silence on the affair. One person wrote, “Tom listed plenty of valid reasons to break up with Ariana. He listed zero valid reasons for cheating on her with her best friend behind her back for a year.”

Another commented, “Tom speaking so nicely about Rachel and trashing Ariana is the lowest of lows. Can’t even speak highly of the person you did wrong.

Someone else stated, “Oh now I understand- it’s Ariana’s fault because she trusted him and she didn’t catch on to the affair. Wow. Just wow. He’s a real piece of work.”
