Andy Cohen Forced To Break Up Near Brawl At Vanderpump Rules Reunion

Andy Cohen has confirmed that he was involved in breaking up a near brawl during the taping of the Season 10 Vanderpump Rules reunion.

“Let me tell you something — I didn’t leave with any bruises, but I was called into action,” the Bravo executive told Page Six on Tuesday.

When the Watch What Happens Live host was asked if fans would be “shocked” by which Bravo stars almost came to blows, he replied — “Listen, you know who the group of people on the stage are; they’re all hotheads! So I mean, shocked? It doesn’t seem that shocking to me. I mean, it’s a bunch of hotheads in a hothouse environment.”

Sources previously confirmed that the ruckus was not instigated by Tom Sandoval, Raquel Leviss or Ariana Madix.

Cohen revealed that he tried to implement ground rules before kicking off the potentially explosive cast gathering.

“You know, at the reunion, I talk to everybody. I go, ‘Guys, there’s so much interest in this. Let’s try to be OK here so that the viewers can be excited,’” he explained.

Cohen continued — “This is the thing — there’s so much interest in what’s going on in the Bravo universe that I always think that it’s fun when things play out on the shows.”

“I mean, I love watching ‘Succession’ and not knowing what’s gonna happen,” he added. “And I’m as passionate about ‘Succession’ as I am about the ‘Housewives.’”

Cohen admitted that he was surprised to learn that Tom Sandoval had cheated on Ariana Madix for months with Raquel Leviss. He hesitated to respond when asked if he believed that the musician was a “piece of sh*t.”

“That’s a loaded question,” Cohen replied. “I would say that as someone who has been friendly with both of them — and he’s from St. Louis; he’s from my hometown — yes, I was disappointed.”

The father of two went on — “You’re disappointed to see that because … I have an over-10-year relationship with Tom that’s a professional relationship. But also, he’s from my hometown, and we’re pals that way. You want everybody that you’re in relationships with to be happy and successful and thriving.”

Cohen added that he believes that Sandoval “would certainly agree that this was not his finest moment.”

The bar owner issued two statements addressing his behavior, but appears to be remaining in the relationship with the former pageant queen. Sandoval, 40, and Leviss, 28, have been spotted out and about as a couple several times since the contentious March 23 reunion taping.

Cohen recently shared that he interviewed the three parties involved in “Scandoval” individually before sitting down with the whole Pump Rules crew. He clarified that he was careful to “re-ask a lot of this stuff in front of the group.”

The Bravo bigwig also dished that NBC streaming service, Peacock, would likely “release extended versions” of the dramatic cast rehash.

“I think you’re going to get extras on Peacock,” he told listeners of his SiriusXM “Radio Andy” show.

Cohen added — “and let me tell you — there is a lot of reckoning to get.”

Vanderpump Rules airs Wednesdays at 9 pm ET on Bravo.
