‘RHONJ’ RECAP: Joe Gorga Blames Luis For Teresa and Dina’s Friendship Fallout 

This week on a new episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Nate Cabral playing with the kids as Margaret Josephs talks with Lexi’s child. Meanwhile, Dolores Catania is fixing Paulie coffee while checking in on him after his heart surgery. Dolores tells Paulie about their time at the Jersey Shore and Frank Catania’s issue with Dolores not staying at his house at the shore.

Paulie doesn’t understand Frank’s issue and Dolores tells Paulie that Frank doesn’t like change. Paulie has a good relationship with his ex-wife, but she doesn’t cross the line like Frank does. Paulie wants Dolores to have an in-depth conversation with Frank and Dolores agrees. Dolores also plans to meet Jennifer Aydin for lunch, so the two can bury the hatchet. 

Dolores doesn’t want to fight with someone she cares about and wants to check on Jennifer after hearing of Jennifer and Bill Aydin’s marital issues.

At Rachel Fuda’s, she and John are trying on clothes with their daughter as Rachel’s mother stands nearby. Rachel discusses her many businesses in her confessional but makes it clear that she and John run things totally differently. After the kids leave, Rachel shows John more school supplies for their daughter as John circles back on adding more kids to the family. Rachel admits her stepson Jayden, isn’t too happy about the decision and reinforces reasons why they should wait. Rachel considers adopting Jayden, but John warns that Jayden’s mother does have a say in the matter. 

Rachel claims that John and his ex had a tumultuous relationship and believes Jayden is better off with his other out his life! John suggests the two sit down with their lawyer and discuss their options.

Later, Jennifer and Dolores meet for lunch and seem in good spirits as they hug and check in on each other. After placing their orders, Jennifer asks about Paulie and after the pleasantries wear off — Dolores ask Jennifer if she thinks Dolores likes fighting with her LOL. Jennifer goes back into her spill about Dolores not being a friend when Margaret was “attacking” her. Dolores feels Jennifer talked trash about her but Jennifer doesn’t think Dolores defended her. 

Jennifer admits she should’ve came to Dolores if she was so upset, and Dolores agrees to call a truce. Dolores promises to watch what she says moving forward and Jennifer agrees to do the same. Let’s see how long this last. Dolores tells Jennifer that Jackie told her about Jennifer’s marital problems and Jennifer tells Dolores about Bill scolding her. Jennifer tells Dolores about therapy but Bill’s spending all his free time in the pool house. Jennifer used to cater to make Bill happy but she’s over it now! Jennifer discussed avoiding Margaret at The Shore and begins telling Dolores about a Turkish lady who can tell the future for the ladies.  Jennifer wants to invite everyone but doesn’t want Margaret in her house. Dolores agrees to host the festivities and the party is on! 

Melissa Gorga and Antonia stop by the new house to see Joe Gorga’s progress. Joe and Melissa show Antonia her room and Melissa’s excited for the come up. Melissa makes suggestions to Joe as he tells her to stick to fashion. Speaking of, Melissa agreed to host a pop-up shop for Danielle but tells Joe she hasn’t spoken to Danielle since she stormed out.

Danielle Cabral is sorting clothes as Teresa Giudice calls on FaceTime. Teresa’s under the weather but that doesn’t stop Danielle from asking what happened at the shore after she left. Teresa tells Danielle about her argument with Melissa and Joe and of course everything is the Gorga’s problem. Teresa feels bad for Louie because he got emotional after their argument.

Joe thinks Louie’s tears are fake and changes the tune to the attention of Dina and her issues within the group. Joe thinks Louie wants everyone to like him and wants Louie to be real. Teresa claims to be drained and done with the drama but we all know this is a lie. Danielle tells Teresa she left the shore upset and that she’s mad Rachel threw Danielle under the bus. Danielle’s truly not ready for the big leagues and wants mama Teresa to come save her. Danielle blames Rachel because it’s easier to fight the newbie than to fight Margaret Josephs. Teresa tells Danielle to let it go but Danielle tells us she’s triggered due to being bullied as a teenager.

Dolores and Paul are prepping for their Reading and Coffee Party and Angie arrives to set up. Jennifer arrives first and compliments Paulie’s place while greeting Angie. Jennifer’s met Angie before and enjoyed her reading from Angie previously. Rachel arrives as the food finishes and the rest of the ladies arrive. Jennifer’s avoiding Margaret when she arrives, and Melissa gives Dolores props for having three men build a house for her. Melissa ask about Dolores lunch with Jennifer and Dolores admits to making up with Jennifer but Margaret doubts the feelings are genuine. Jennifer ask about Danielle and soon the ladies are discussing the complexity of Danielle’s story. 

Jennifer A. defends Danielle but the ladies feel they have a right to ask questions. Margaret’s agitated with Danielle and Jennifer A. continues trying to put sugar on sh**. The room gets awkward as Danielle joins the ladies and everyone goes inside to cool off. Jennifer and Dolores reveal that although Teresa has COVID and can’t make it, Teresa asked Dolores and Jennifer to be her bridesmaids and the room looks shocked! Jennifer’s oh too happy to rub the news in Melissa’s face and we know ish is about to hit the fan! Melissa thinks it’s odd because Dolores wasn’t even at Teresa’s engagement party and producers tried to discuss Dina Manzo, but Dolores isn’t having it. Melissa spills the tea in her confessional that Dina and Dolores aren’t speaking due to a business deal gone wrong. 

The ladies refill on drinks as Danielle sits next to Margaret with an awkward face. Margaret compliments the food as Dolores  invites the ladies to Ireland! They all agree and are very excited as Angie comes out for the group reading. The ladies drink the coffee and no one’s as confused as Jennifer Fessler LOL. Angie tells Dolores she has a ring coming soon as Paulie watches from the kitchen. Rachel’s cup represents victory in the next three months or three years. Rachel discusses the potential adoption of Jayden and Angie gives Rachel hope that she’ll win in court. 

Margaret relates to Rachel due to raising her own stepchildren and become emotional talking about it. Margaret’s cup represents a friend whose name begins with the letter “L” stabbing her in the back! We all know Margaret’s ex-best friend’s been running her mouth, so it looks like Angie’s onto something. Jen Fessler’s rolling her eyes and doesn’t believe Angie for a second! Angie says Margaret and Laura will make up eventually, but the ladies doesn’t see it. Jennifer wants to know how Bill feels and Angie tells Jennifer what she wants to hear but it sounds all made up. The ladies aren’t buying what Angie’s selling and can clearly see Jennifer prepped Angie on all the women LOL. Jennifer denies it and soon the tables laughing as Jennifer tries saving face. 

Angie moves onto Danielle and tells the table about the conflict between Danielle and her brother. Danielle begins getting emotional as Angie discusses her brothers wedding and gives Danielle hope for the future. Danielle cries as Jackie says she hopes Angie’s reading comes true and Danielle replies “Do you?!” getting all loud! Danielle wants to know what was said after she left and Jackie admits she thought something was missing from the story. Danielle wants the ladies to believe her and Melissa just wants to stop the conversation altogether. Danielle blames Rachel for throwing her under the bus and soon Margaret’s yelling at Danielle and Danielle begins yelling at Rachel. Danielle tells Rachel she can’t talk to her anymore and Rachel doesn’t give a single f***. Dolores kicks everyone out before anymore arguments occur and we got to wait until next week to see more craziness on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
