Wendy Williams Selling Off Her Possessions Amid Major Life Change
Wendy Williams is preparing to sell off her belongings before heading for the west coast.
The former chat show host has been telling friends that she’s ready to leave New York City for Los Angeles, per a report by The U.S. Sun.
The source told the outlet that the former daytime diva plans to leave the city in early April.
“Wendy has been calling people asking them to help sell all her stuff,” the insider claimed. “She is asking for recommendations on places that can sell furniture for you.”
The source added that Wendy was in the process of determining how to list items from her $3 million apartment, which could potentially include the iconic purple chair pulled from the set of The Wendy Williams Show. Wendy gave fans a peek inside her eclectic home during the Covid lockdown, in 2020.
Rob Shuter and entertainment reporter, Delaina Dixon, dished about running into Wendy during a recent episode of their “Naughty But Nice” podcast.
Delaina Dixon revealed that the former daytime star told them that she “wants to do new projects.”
Miss D added — “She definitely is trying to move to Los Angeles. She wants to be there, basically within the next two to three weeks and she wants to get back on television. That’s where she was comfortable.”
The podcaster continued — “Now, of course, I made the suggestion that we’d love to see her on a reality show just to see how she is putting her life back together as a single woman, what her next projects will be, but we’ll see what happens if she does one.”
Wendy, who previously confirmed that her much hyped podcast was no longer in the works, was recently spotted filming a mystery project. Wendy was seen with cameras inside NYC restaurant, Fresco By Scotto, last month.
“Wendy is filming a reality show. She rocked up to New York celebrity hotspot Fresco by Scotto and had a producer hand out Non-Disclosure Agreements to patrons,” a source told The U.S. Sun at the time.
The tipster added that Wendy showed up without a reservation, giving no heads up to the staff.
“It wasn’t like this was pre-planned,” the snitch revealed. “When you see the women on the Real Housewives, you see them just walk into places, but really production scouts out the restaurant in advance. They set it up, there are full permissions involved.”
The insider said — “Wendy just figured this is her favorite restaurant, so she just showed up!”
“This did not look like a crew hired by a network, this feels like a very homemade reality show,” an on-the-scene onlooker said. “It appears this will be a show about her life after The Wendy Williams Show.”
Wendy ended her time as a daytime host in June 2022, after stepping away from her show to tend to a myriad of health issues.
