‘RHONJ’ Midseason Trailer: Teresa’s Kids Get Emotional Over Joe Giudice’s Appearance
The rumor that led to Real Housewives of New Jersey. couple, Joe and Melissa Gorga, ditching Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas’ wedding will steal the spotlight, for the second half of Season 13.
Bravo’s released midseason trailer teases a cast trip to Ireland with Dolores and Irish boyfriend, Paul Connell, which includes a stay at a 400 year old “haunted” castle.
Jennifer and Bill Aydin’s rocky marriage will also remain a hot topic as Jennifer admits in the teaser — “We don’t want to rip each other’s clothes off and jump each other’s bones anymore.”
Teresa and her four daughters are featured happily preparing for the wedding before the bombshell rumor drops.
“So your only sibling is not showing up?” Teresa’s makeup artist asks, to which a weeping Teresa responds, “Yes.”
Teresa and Luis tied the knot last summer in an extravagant ceremony at Park Chateau Estate and Gardens in East Brunswick, N.J. Melissa, Joe and their three children did not attend the event due to a blowout fight that occurred only days ahead of the wedding. The couple reportedly planned to attend the nuptials up until the filming of the finale episode, during which rumors swirled about their marriage.
The trailer reveals RHONJ newbie, Danielle Cabral, telling Melissa — “She caught you in the backseat of a car, kissing a guy,” referring to a circulating rumor involving family friend, Nick Barrotta.
Margaret Josephs calls Danielle a “a s—t-stirrer” later in the clip, prompting the Bravo rookie to shout back—”Meet the new Danielle…you made her.”
Teresa and Jennifer Aydin reportedly heard the gossip from Margaret’s ex bestie, Laura Marasca Jensen, who claimed that the rumor was dished by Margaret.
The rumors are a game-changer for Melissa, who tells Dolores Catania — “How can I celebrate somebody else’s marriage when they are constantly trying to destroy mine?”
Dolores reminds her co-star that such a decision could end Teresa and Joe’s relationship.
“If you don’t go to the wedding, Melissa, I think it’s over over,” Dolores tells Teresa’s sister-in-law.
Fans know that Teresa and the Gorgas have been on the outs since the pre-wedding blowout, and that they regularly swap barbs in the press and on their respective podcasts. Andy Cohen even divided the cast for BravoCon panels in October, to keep Teresa and the Gorgas apart.
Fans will also see a tense exchange between Dolores and her ex-husband, Frank Catania, who was not happy to learn that his ex-wife’s boyfriend had picked out an engagement ring.
“Frank does not like change,” Dolores, 52, tells Paul who notes, “Frank needs to grow up.”
“You can’t move forward hanging on to the past,” Paul adds.
Drama explodes during a group dinner when Danielle yells at fellow newcomer, Rachel Fuda—“What you did was tell her everything I said. First of all, calm the f-ck down!”
Danielle also tells Margaret that she “created” the cheating rumor about Melissa, prompting her co-star to scream back, “Don’t you ever!”
