‘RHONJ’ Cast Members Slapped With GAG ORDER … Find Out Why?
Bravo has taken a stand after the ongoing feud between Real Housewives of New Jersey stars, Melissa and Joe Gorga, and Teresa Giudice. The network has implemented a gag order on the entire cast — a move that many feel is long overdue.
Melissa and Joe Gorga revealed on a recent episode of Melissa’s podcast, On Display, that Bravo has imposed a gag order on the entire cast. It seems that the network is no longer interested in hearing their perspective.
“We got a gag order for the first time ever,” Joe said on the episode. “Let’s tell the truth!”
Joe Gorga disclosed that Bravo has placed restrictions on how much they can discuss The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
“We’ve been on the show for thirteen years and we’ve never been on a gag order through Bravo. We’ve never had them say ‘You can’t talk about the show, you can’t talk about anything, you can’t post anything, really, about the show.’”
Melissa added: “We all got a little slap on the wrist because, for some reason, this season has been really kooky, this is like the first time ever that this has happened to us, and it’s just so weird this year. Everything’s different, and like, just everything’s just like, different.”
According to the veteran cast members, the network has reached out to the entire cast, instructing them not to discuss the ongoing season on their social media platforms. “Something’s different!” Joe added.
Although the news of the gag order may have come as a surprise to some fans, there are those who speculate that Bravo imposed it on the Gorgas for their own protection.
It’s not surprising that this drastic step has been taken, considering the cast’s history of engaging in social media feuds, sharing private messages, and resorting to trolling to intimidate one another.
As reported in early February, Teresa Giudice leaked text messages to nail Melissa Gorga as the sneaky culprit behind the ugly family divide.
In response, Melissa Gorga went after her sister-in-law, “Guys! I see you’re all curious about the text messages! Someone is definitely spiraling And needs to ‘prove’ herself working overtime,” Melissa Gorga, 43, wrote on her Instagram Story.
The family feud between Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Joe Gorga has been a long-standing drama on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
The Giudice/Gorga fallout is to blame for Bravo issuing a gag order against the entire cast, All About The Tea can confirm.
The family feud began when Teresa accused her sister-in-law Melissa of joining the show to become famous and capitalize on their family’s drama. The tension between the two only grew worse when rumors started circulating that Melissa had been unfaithful to Joe Gorga, Teresa’s brother.
The situation came to a head during season 3 when Teresa and her brother got into a heated blowout fight at her nephew’s baptism celebration. The incident has since become one of the most iconic moments in reality TV history.
Despite attempts at reconciliation over the years, the feud has continued to simmer beneath the surface. In recent seasons, the three have attempted to mend their relationship for the sake of their parents and children. Nevertheless, tensions still run high, and when Melissa and Joe declined to attend Teresa’s 2022 wedding to Luis Ruelas that further drove a wedge between the families.
