Lala Kent Calls Tom Schwartz WEAK Amid Tom Sandoval Raquel Leviss Affair
Lala Kent sounded off about the controversy swirling around the kiss Tom Schwartz shared with Raquel Leviss, amid the Vanderpump Rules star’s secret affair with Tom Sandoval.
Lala Kent slammed Tom Schwartz in comments shared with TMZ Monday, when asked if she thought that Schwartz knew about the months-long affair.
“I don’t like weakness. At times, you have to be a good person,” Lala Kent told the outlet.
The 32-year-old added that Schwartz, 40, should have told Sandoval’s girlfriend of nearly a decade, Ariana Madix, instead of protecting his unfaithful friend with his silence.
“[He should have] rolled up on Ariana, or said [to Sandoval] ‘You tell Ariana, or I will,’” the Bravo star commented.
Lala Kent added that it wouldn’t surprise her if Leviss and Sandoval were currently “fully together” amid a scandal now known as “Scandoval.”
Lala isn’t alone in her belief that Schwartz knew that his business partner was cheating on his longtime girlfriend.
“I think they are so close he knew something,” Lisa Vanderpump told Andy Cohen during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, last week.
Vanderpump Rules alum, Kristen Doute, dubbed Schwartz a “fu**ing pussy” who “needs to man up,” amid his radio silence on the affair bombshell.
“Enough is enough. He’s just burying his head in the sand and thinks that things will just go away and things will happen,” Doute said last week, during an appearance on Dear Media’s “Scheananigans” podcast.
Doute added — “It’s like he can be honest with us in real time and texting, ‘I don’t stand for this’ or ‘I really feel this way,’ but he doesn’t do anything about it.”
Tom Sandoval denied that Schwartz knew about his secret romance with Leviss, 28, days after the affair was exposed.
“I fully understand and deserve ur anger & disappointment towards me, but please leave [Tom] Schwartz my friends and family out of this situation…” Sandoval wrote on Instagram, earlier this month.
He claimed that Schwartz only discovered the truth recently, and “did not condone it.”
Sandoval’s explanation came after a boycott was launched against the duo’s new Los Angeles bar, Schwartz and Sandy’s.
Sandoval wrote — “There are 3 other partners and 20 employees, who rely on the restaurant for income for them and their families. Just like [first bar] TomTom, I’m a small part of a much bigger thing.”
He added — “Please direct ur anger towards me and not them. They did nothing wrong.”
Sandoval publicly apologized to Ariana Madix, 37, days later.
“I made mistakes, I was selfish, and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly. I can only imagine how devastating this has been for Ariana and everyone around us.”
Ariana Madix discovered that her then-boyfriend was involved in a “full-on affair” with Leviss, after an explicit video of the VPR star popped up on Sandoval’s phone. Madix dumped Sandoval when she realized that the pair had been “communicating inappropriately for months.”
Leviss apologized to Madix in a statement shared with ET, revealing that she was in counseling for her “unhealthy behavioral cycle.”
“I am reflecting on my choices, speaking to a counselor and I am learning things about myself such as my patterns of codependency and addiction to being and feeling loved,” Leviss later explained on Instagram.
She added, “I have sought emotional validation through intimate connections that are not healthy without regard for my own well-being, sometimes negatively affecting others and often prioritizing the intimate connection over my friendships.”
Madix has yet to publicly address the scandal but blocked both Sandoval and Leviss on her recently reactivated Instagram account.
Bravo captured scenes relating to the plot twist for the current season. The Vanderpump Rules cast will gather to hash out the drama at the end of the month, for the Season 10 reunion.
