Lisa Hochstein acknowledges that her extravagant spending behavior played a role in her acrimonious divorce from Lenny Hochstein.
During Part 1 of the Real Housewives of Miami reunion, host Andy Cohen posed a question to the reality TV personality, “Were there issues about how much money you spent on your lifestyle?”
“You know what? Yeah,” Lisa Hochstein responded promptly but also made a quick observation that she “work[s] for free” at the Hochstein Med Spa.”
“I wasn’t a do-nothing bitch,” Lisa insisted.
Lisa also disclosed that her social life was a bone of contention for Lenny, 56.
Lisa Hochstein, 40, conceded that she was nursing a hangover, having been out until 4 am with friends when her plastic surgeon husband informed her that he wanted a divorce.
Nevertheless, the mother of two contended that her late nights were infrequent, occurring “maybe once a month,” and maintained that Lenny had other reasons for wanting a divorce. And noted, Lenny “went out also.”
Nevertheless, Lisa and her co-stars are of the opinion that Lenny’s decision to abandon her and their two children, son Logan aged 7, and daughter Elle aged 3, for his present and much younger girlfriend, Katharina Mazepa, was not justified by her actions.
Lisa Hochstein has consistently contend that Lenny had an affair with the 27-year-old model.
During a “hot mic” moment on the Peacock reality series, her ex-husband was caught talking to a friend about how he would “soon be single,” before he and Lisa had officially separated, which appeared to confirm her suspicions. Lisa was deeply hurt and taken aback by the footage and expressed her shock and devastation, saying, “I always had a feeling that something might have been going on.”
Despite Lisa’s accusations, Lenny has repeatedly refuted having an affair and maintained that he began dating Mazepa only after he and Lisa had agreed to end their marriage.
Lisa recently verified that she has also moved on and is now in a relationship with 49-year-old entrepreneur Jody Glidden.
Despite having found happiness again in her love life, the “Housewife” who hails from Canada, believes that her divorce proceedings, which began in May 2022, have no end in sight due to an acrimonious dispute over child and spousal support.
As reported, Lisa is racking up substantial legal bills amid her bitter split from her estranged husband, Lenny Hochstein. The Real Housewives of Miami star’s lawyers have filed court documents that claim that Lisa owes them more than $85k.
In court documents, attorney Paul Leinoff states that the Peacock star owes $49,171.48 for “legal fees, costs and suit monies due to Leinoff & Lemos, P.A.”
The attorney also asserts that the reality star owes an additional $35,841.90 for services rendered by accounting firm Kaufman Rossin & Co. The legal debt continues to grow as interest has been tagged on since Lisa first retained the team of lawyers, in late April.
The firms are asking for a cut of Lisa’s future divorce settlement to settle the debts.
